This anime is one of the best shoujo story for me!
However, it has a very oposite kind of love" Talking about the girl who was very sweet is actually good enough to complete this anime.
The guy is good for taming everyone, but i guess he seeks for true love!
The title "Wolf girl and Black prince" is just too cool for these two main chracters!!
The anime is so good also recommending this anime for the people who seeks for true love!

This is a semi Classic trope for anime, Good looking person with a terrible personality. Usually its something you can work with and you can see the good in them and you root for them. I just hate the dude. He is emotionally abusive and I kept hoping he would have the paradigm shift that would make him better but it took too long. His good points are too little and too far between. I watched this years ago and didnt remember it much(gee I wonder why) and came back to it because of this top romance anime list it was on. I disagree but that is me.
I didn't like how they Personality embodiment to be so humiliating and showing that some girls will do anything even if it's disrespectful for them just for pretty boy or Social relations
The truth is I would have given it 3 stars if I hadn't read the end in manga.
This anime is more like a girl drooling over a hot guy who she fell in love with. The issue is more with the girl than with the guy. The guy knows he's a sadist and knows he's mean. This girl just takes up every insult, every demeaning stuff and it made me sick. She's so under-confident, self-centered, and a hopeless girl in the anime that I wondered why he even fell in love with her. The whole start still makes me cringe, she refuses a guy who promise to respect and treat her well and went with a guy who calls her a dog and makes her act like one. They are incompatible, childish, dishonest, and I wonder this is what teenagers think of when they think of "love"? This show is annoying and sickening in the start.
Now why I gave 6 stars? I gave it for the last 5-6 chapters of manga. The ending shows how couple works in a realistic way, what lies ahead for them and how many hardships are actually there to make a relationship work. I skipped many chapters to reach to the end fast. I would suggest you people to watch few episodes to know the flow then start reading from chapter 38 or so to avoid feeling disgusted. Anyhow, if you plan to just watch the anime, DON'T. It isn't sweet high school romance, it's just a hot guy insulting and toying with a girl. Rather watch Ao Haru Ride and then read its manga. I like the main character(girl) much more than this one. She atleast has a good amount of self respect and isn't annoying.

After reading mixed reviews I decided to give this anime a chance and watch it. At first, it seemed like it had the potential to develop into a cute romance, but unfortunately, with time it just became worse and worse. And no, it's not because of the whole dog thing. Even the pretending boyfriend thing could be developed into something better if the makers of this would know how to make a romance progress organically. Unfortunately, the story now reads something like this:
Protagonist Erika is a shallow girl whose only goal in life is to have friends (doesn't matter if they're fake and she has nothing in common with them) for the sake of the looks. She likes inventing things, including a fake boyfriend. When Sata decides to go along with her lies, she just keeps on pretense. Any normal person at this point would've admitted being an idiot, apologized, and then asked that if he could've pretended to dump her (so that she could've kept the appearances and stop bugging a guy who clearly doesn't want a girlfriend). Instead, pretending to have a love life clearly seems more important to her than anything, and they both keep on the appearances. Sate is being a jerkt to her from time to time, but honestly it could've been way worse. Most of the time he just uses her like some sort of an assistant, so she keeps on fetching things for him. Erika is pretty annoying, especcially when she "falls in love" with him, which happens way, way too soon and for no good reason. Her proclamation of love sounds more like a declaration of war, and then tries to win his affection in the most cringe-worthy ways. She's pretty much thowing herself at him, which is hard to watch. When he doesn't return the feelings, she ackts like a spoild child who can't take no for an answer.
I do admit that I watched only until half of the season, but I simply cannot bear this bad "romance." It's too childish and bad developed for my taste. If you force yourself on a person you shouldn't expect them to want to be closer to you (unless they have issues). This brings out the exact offosite efect. That's clearly something the protagonist can't understand.
