One of the best episode for a horror tv show ever!!!!! Bill Skarsgård, you are a beast!! Academy, please show some respect and give this man the awards he deserves!! The way he embraces pennywise just makes us believe that it actually exists and we are seeing such evil things happen in real time!!!😭😭💯💯💯
Man what a high budget episode it looked like! Would put even movies to shame.
This episode honestly felt like a big step up. The pacing was tighter, the tension kept building in a really natural way, and the show finally starts peeling back the layers around Pennywise's origins
The whole barn sequence was way more intense than I expected. All in all, absolute 10/10 episode bar none.

I'll be totally honest, some of the episodes have sorta let me down but the story is still great. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, but this one gave it all you could want and not want (in the best way). The fear, the story, the lore. OMG it was so good! And penny wise was there the whole time! It's worth watching the show just to see this episode alone. They really didn't hold back and the build up all season makes it that much worth it! The jump scare actually got me pretty good even tho I knew it was coming! Trust me when I say, go into this one expecting an INSANE amount of, well I don't even know what to call it. Certainly won't ever forget it!
92/100
The episode blends drama, atmosphere, and backstory in a clean, easy way. Nothing feels heavy - it's smooth and engaging from the start.
A standout moment brings real goosebumps, especially for anyone who remembers the Deadlights from IT (2017). The visual hit feels instantly familiar, and the music adds a slow emotional lift that connects the scene to the episode's dramatic tone.
It's short, intense, and memorable - a simple but powerful mix of mood, tension, and that unmistakable 2017 energy.

This episode was crazy, and played with every emotion it could grab ahold of. Pennywise's best scenes so far, had me completely jaw-dropped. I'm excited to see what the final episode entails, however, the ending of this episode was slightly confusing as to what to expect from the plot going forth. Solid show so far.

- QuizWhen the townsfolk attack the Black Spot, several of the men have plastic Halloween masks on - a vampire, a werewolf, and a mummy. These are a reference to the original book, where one of the kids is attacked by Pennywise using visions of movie monsters.
- BlooperMarge Truman first sees and gets close to Rich Santos's dead body after the Black Spot fire; his eyes are closed, but when the camera gets a close-up of his face and body, his eyes open.
