On the Job 2: The Missing 8

This movie gives me chills! I'm glad that it's longer than the first one. It's terrifying when you think that this is currently happening to our journalists :( What a cruel world we live in.

Incredible performance by Arcilla, this movie depicts corruption in politics, police, media, watched 3 episodes on HBO Go...to be continued...

This is probably one of the best Filipino movies I've seen in decades. From acting, to the story, the production value, and overall presentation I totally salute the director for crafting this film.

Unfortunately, when I saw it on HBO Max, it was badly dubbed. The alternate audio comes with description for hearing impaired. I think the original audio give more impact to the actor's performance.

Perhaps I'll wait for the Blu-ray release and rewatch it. I highly recommend this film.
