Aapish

Aapish is tale of two dimensions of society crafted with simple but subtle storytelling. The journey of two women who apparently poles apart may cross path in a whole different way that you can ever imagine. The movie is depiction of how love, respect and societal norms changes its very own nature throughout the career graph of a woman. Most importantly how contrasting is it to have power and position in perspective of a man or a woman. I must say, the two women lead (played by Sudipta Chakraborty and Sandipta Sen) did deliver a stellar performance and left no gap. Though I found little bit flat dialogue deliveries by one of the supporting male character played by Kinjal Nanda. The best support is given by another supporting male character played by Tathagata Choudhury and two child actors who played the part of two sons of one of the female protagonist. Movie length is as perfect as it could be. There are no extra scene to overdo or overdramatise. I wholeheartedly expect this particular cinema to reach out to every set of audience and imprint it's impact. Because this is something very simple yet thought provoking in terms of socital norms.
