Escobar rejected?

I enjoyed the episode and show the entry of escobar in politics. Some of them reject him for what he is doing a a drug dealer. But Escobar will teach the respect by violence. Very nice episode with tragic ending. We see that pablo escobar had some problem to be accepted at first in the world of politics and the politics see him not able to run the country because of what he is. Nice episode.

Narcos Season 1 Episode 3

It was great to see the political impact Pablo had on the country at the time on full display. Pascal again has a great performance and this may be one of the best netflix originals so far!

In the opening scene. Steve and Javier make reference to murdered DEA Agent Enrique S. "Kiki" Camarena Salazar ("KiKi" Camarena) and the ensuring manhunt for his killers The Guadalajara Cartel in Mexico by the DEA. This scene takes place sometime before or during 1982 just before Pablo's election to congress yet the incident and subsequent events they make reference to didn't take place until 1985. Some three years after the scene takes place.
