Dungeons of Ecstasy really set my screen on fire! The twists and turns of the story had me in a chokehold! I'm also so proud of Nicole for bravely taking the role of Emily! It's new, challenging, and she proved just how versatile she is as an actress!
Eric and Felix did not disappoint either! The dark and mysterious façade of their characters literally gave me chills!
Overall, I absolutely enjoyed it and will definitely watch it again! I also hope ReelShort continues to bring more stories with refreshing plots.

✨ Review of Dungeon of Ecstasy ✨
This series didn't just leave me speechless-it ensnared me. From the first frame to the last haunting moment, Dungeon of Ecstasy is an intoxicating masterpiece. It pulls you into its shadowed halls of love, betrayal, and power, leaving you suspended between desire and dread.
Eric Guilmette was nothing short of mesmerizing. As Lucien (Luke), he embodied the perfect paradox: powerful yet vulnerable, commanding yet achingly human. Every calculated movement, every cold glance carried layers of hidden longing and restrained fury. His performance was neither overdone nor understated-it was enthralling, seductive, and unforgettable, like a master pulling strings in a forbidden game.
Nicole Mattox gave the series its fierce, beating heart. As Emily, she was radiant with resilience-unyielding in her quest for truth, yet courageous enough to open herself to love and possibility. Her strength was intoxicating, her vulnerability haunting. In many ways, she became the soul of this story, grounding the ecstasy with raw humanity.
Felix Merback was the dangerous whisper in the dark. As Jonah, he was twisted charm incarnate-seductive, manipulative, and cunning. His performance dripped with menace and allure, keeping you guessing whether to trust him or recoil. He was the shadow at the edge of every scene, the temptation that threatened to unravel everything.
The story itself is daring, layered, and unforgettable-a descent into a dungeon where nothing is as it seems, where ecstasy and peril walk hand in hand. And that ending... a masterstroke, lingering like a haunting echo.
Not just a series, but an experience.

The long-awaited Dungeons of Ecstasy dropped today, and wow-this one delivered on every level.
Eric Guilmette was absolutely on top of his game. Playing a character that was essentially two personalities in one (Lucian/Luke), he gave us a masterclass in nuance. His physicality shifted with each side of Lucian/Luke, from posture to movement, and the subtle changes in voice inflection made it feel like two distinct people inhabiting the same space. Just incredible work.
Felix Merback slid perfectly into the role of "the good guy," but with an undercurrent that screamed don't trust him. The performance carried a creeping unease-every smile just a little too sharp, every gesture tinged with menace. By the end, you knew his façade was paper thin, and it was chilling.
Naomi Mattix brought the kind of heroine audiences crave. She wasn't a damsel in distress-she was resilient, clever, and layered.
Yes, she showed vulnerability, but it only made her strength and backbone shine brighter. She felt like the moral compass and emotional heart of the story.
The setting in Italy wasn't just beautiful-it became a fourth character in the film. The architecture, the atmosphere, the shadows of history-it all wrapped around the plot and heightened the tension in a way no studio backdrop ever could.
The story itself was tightly written, balancing mystery, danger, and emotional depth. By the time the credits rolled, one thought was crystal clear: this deserves a sequel.
A must-watch vertical release that raises the bar.

"Dungeons of Ecstasy" is a breath of fresh air for the vertical format! The storyline is intriguing, unique, and such a nice break from the endless parade of werewolves we've all seen before.
It begins with Emily (Nicole Mattox) and her husband Luke (Eric Guilmette) in a serious car accident. After a long hospitalization and a shocking set of divorce papers from Luke, Emily heads to Italy in search of answers. There she encounters a mysterious man who looks just like her ex-husband-but with a much darker edge.
Set against the backdrop of a dungeon in Italy, Emily stays to uncover its secrets and unravel the mystery behind the stranger's true identity.
Eric Guilmette is phenomenal as the brooding and enigmatic Lucian (of course he is!). No one else could capture the duality of Luke and Lucian quite like him.
Nicole Mattox shines as Emily, bringing to life a woman who is clearly done with Luke, Lucian, and men in general wasting her time. Her refreshingly nonchalant attitude makes her a standout-no "vertical damsel in distress" here!
Felix Merback nails his role as the good guy who might just have a sinister side, and his expression in the final scene has me begging for DOE 2!
The pacing is perfect-fast-moving with zero repetitive filler-and every episode left me hooked. This is definitely one I'll rewatch again and again!

The thriller/suspense vibe was exactly what VertiLand was missing!
That being said... the big reveal felt a bit weak. My inner voice was screaming "That's the reason?!" And honestly, with Luke/Lucian, I can't shake the feeling we're still missing pieces.
He seems not completely honest - maybe a setup for part 2?
