So, while the victims and the families deserve nothing but compassion, the show itself is terrible. Compare it to good investigation stories like the "American Murder" miniseries or the "Gone Girls" miniseries and this is SO FAR from being half as good. This is basically 2 hours split through 3 episodes of moms and friends telling stories about 3 people; this is NOT a show about a valiant investigation involving the FBI, canine units, local units, a ton of civilians helping, etc., this is a show about moms on a sofa. I have no idea how this was green lit with this show structure, I'm sure that the story could have been WAY more compelling if it had been 90% about the investigation and only 10% about the biography of the victims, but it's the opposite; it's literally 3 moms saying: "look at how much of an angel my kid was" over and over, like broken records. I was highly disappointed and I'm blaming the production team...
