The overwhelming usage of screenplay time is a repetition of juvenile gags on each other that aren't really that funny since these are sabotaging the company's business and we are supposed to believe these two grade-schoolers are the best candidates for CEO in the company. It is farce, not comedy.
While the leads could make for an attractive romantic pair, the idiocy of the storyline ruins any credible romantic plot arc. While the female lead is occasionally a sympathetic character, Noah Fernley's character is a complete jerk of a man for 99% of this movie cemented not only because of his downright mean antics, but aggravated by his annoyingly smug mannerisms. His final act of support for his co-worker is hardly enough to erase the viewers distaste for him established for the prior hour and a half of runtime. As a result, I fail to see any basis for real 'chemistry' that the previous reviews say was evident....it was merely inserted into the script....it did not evolve organically from anything that I could see happening along the way.
I gave 2 stars only because the casting match decision offered potential and I suppose the two leads acted the part of how opposite sex 12 year olds conduct themselves towards each other pretty credibly. Maybe it was fun for them, but there was no engaging plot arc for the viewer to become attached to.

Noah Fearnely and Ashley Michelle Grant did an amazing job in what I consider to be one of the best romcom verticals to date with an original story basis. Their chemistry jumps at you from the start in the way they act out their rivalry, play off each other in the comedic scenes and bring their characters to life. It reminded me of the way the main characters in the proposal played off each other too. You root for them throughout the show as you watch their emotions grow and see the respect they start to have for the other. This was a fun show to watch and hope to see them both in more romcoms in the future as they are fantastic in those roles.
This short drama series was fantastic!! Noah Fearnley is one of my favorite actors. It doesn't matter what he's in, he never disappoints. Ashley Michelle Grant is a great actress herself and a joy to watch. Put them together and you're in for a show! They're both super talented, and their chemistry is unmatched.
I hope to see more of them in movies. I could watch this again & again, which is not something I've ever said about a short drama series. It's well written, funny, cute, and entertaining! I didn't want it to be over yet. I needed more! I highly recommend it!
I recommend this 100 times over!
