The underlying plot line is the too-often-used trope of 'girl being blackmailed by evil relatives into doing something she doesn't want to'....namely, give up her relationship with one guy and marry another. A different twist here is the second guy is actually decent.
Jordan Frank plays the original boyfriend and turns in a mediocre acting performance. The actor playing the 2nd boyfriend/fiancé was actually a bit better.
The conniving subplots were plausible enough, but were repeated within the movie too many times. The scripted dialogue was the real negative here....it lacked passion between Frank and Skorpen. If you are looking for an example of what lack of chemistry looks like between two romantic leads, look no further.
