Fantastic film! I love zombie films, and this one did not disappoint. Even with a tiny budget, they managed to create an amazing film, using practical effects that are top notch, as are the costumes and makeup. Kelly, the babysitter (played by Micaella Stone) is looking after an odd ball child Kevin (played by Jorrell Ayson,) and it goes horribly wrong. Outside, the world has turned into utter chaos with zombies running around infecting people. There are amazing scenes of gore, blood and body parts. Although this is a dark comedy, and many of the scenes had me laughing, there is also an intensity, tension and suspense coming through, that is balanced out quite well. When the pizza man (played by SreeKrishna Daggupati) turns up at the house, it's a very gruelling scene. Kevin's playdate Billy (played by Theodore Smith) arrives, but he doesn't stay for long after what he witnesses at the house. It's hilarious when Kelly's boyfriend Brad (played by Jacques Leger) turns up to the house to keep Kelly company. I like what happens to this arrogant young man, he's not cool for long. When Kevin's parents arrive home, the ending is brilliant and unexpected! The scenes of horror are incredible; I can tell a lot of work and love went into the making of this film. I have to commend the acting, everyone performed their roles with brilliance, especially the way Stone carries herself throughout the entire film, and Jorrell Ayson is a phenomenal actor, considering the role he was in. Also, the cinematography is very good, with different angled shots, SOV filming and closeup shots. Bloody awesome! There is a tribute at the end for actor Colin Dufault who played a zombie in the film and who passed away suddenly, on June 1st, 2024, at the age of 31. Keep up the amazing work team, this was a great ride!
