In a news piece shown, the given name of Saunders, the murder victim, is Derek. In the end credits, the character's name is listed as Derrick.

When Sarah Winter's blue Nissan Versa is first shown, you can see the Enterprise Rent-a-car bar code sticker on the driver's side window.

Later on, when Sarah Winter's Nissan Versa is shown again, it has a Washington state license plate on the front, but when the rear is visible, it has a British Columbia license plate.

When Brooke Winters sees her smoothie cup on the ground, after it had been stolen by the "homeless man", she says "the weirdo didn't even drink it". Detective Barry Trent than picks it up as evidence, and the cup is clearly empty.
