Exceeded my expectations

As a Sabahan, I have to say Mantera really touched something deep in me. Honestly, I didn't expect much going in-but wow, I walked out of the cinema feeling proud and inspired. It's so refreshing to see a story that feels close to home, with moments that are truly relatable to our everyday lives. Of course, like any film, there's always room to improve-but let's give credit where it's due. The effort, the quality, the passion from the production team-it shows. They're not playing around. This is proof that we can tell amazing stories with heart and soul. I really hope we get more films like this. Sabah has so many stories worth telling, and Mantera is a beautiful reminder of that.

Thrilling Ethnic Horror

The story felt relatable and realistic, especially for local audiences. The plot was engaging with a good amount of suspense. Visually, the film was impressive-especially the dream sequences, which were beautifully done. The makeup on the cast looked amazing, and most of the acting came across as natural and not cringey.

However, some parts felt rushed or unclear, particularly due to missing backstory. The climax was quite short, and a few random elements could have used more explanation.

Overall, it's an enjoyable and thrilling watch with strong cultural elements-definitely worth checking out.
