This short film features some impressive cinematography, which is probably its strongest aspect. Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand what the story was about. The film seems to jump back and forth between reality and illusion, past and present, and life and death. It incorporates elements of post-apocalyptic fiction, sci-fi, and drama.
Clearly, something traumatic happened in the past, which then led to another event that likely went wrong, ultimately resulting in an awkward decision. The film's title is Flight, which likely refers to the "fight or flight" response-and I can only assume the story is about choosing the latter.
But then again, the film might simply be trying to pack in too much in terms of what's happening, while offering too little in terms of explaining why things happened and what followed. Unfortunately, for my taste, it involves a bit too much guesswork and ambiguity.
