I enjoyed this K-Drama but I thought it should be called The Cunning Single Man instead as it seemed to me more of the Leading Male that was more cunning trying to get the female back more than her trying to get him back. I felt she was trying to get independent and work hard at her job, after all - she gave up everything to support him while he was pursuing his dream inook her over to instead of taking care of her own education. There were some sad moments (baby) and some cruel moments (like when he took the FL over to the house that they planned and then he built). All in all, a cute ending.
The synopsis of this one is misleading making it seem like a revenge tale.
Instead it's a story about a couple that really cared for each other but went through hard times that forced them apart then meet again three years later. The husband is rich and successful, the wife is bitter that he found all this success while sticking her with his debt when he left.
At first the wife is viewed as irrational and bitter while the husband acts like he's moved on. It took up until mid season for them to make the wife more sympathetic which is weird in this kind of drama.
The ending is a bit rushed. it would have benefited from stretching it out over a few episodes rather than the confused tying of loose ends that happened but over all it's a sweet, romantic tale with a couple that really acted like they've been married for years.

Cunning Single Lady sounds like a revenge drama, about a dynamic famme fatal who is ready to take down everyone who stands in her way etc etc. However, it is actually about a woman who is too sweet and too good and too much of a victem.
Minus:
-The story got annoying at some point
Possitives:
-Good acting
-even though it's not what the title suggests, it is actually a decent drama
-has some cute aspects
So, 6.5 out of 10.
The serious aspect dealing with the impact of divorce is well handled. From the parents reactions, to the stigma of divorce on the divorced woman it's all quite well incorporated. The most moving parts are the way they each remembered the hurt and betrayal first but didn't think about the better times till later. The suffering each endured and struggles are well portrayed. The way they get each other is hilarious. The later comic romance parts are less successful especially where Joo Sang Wook acts in love are painful. He isn't the most handsome actor in K drama but he is a believable CEO. The female lead Lee Min Jung is quite endearing. She keeps the role quite sympathetic and not annoying. She doesn't act cute and silly unlike some other rom com heroines. There is a drag towards the end. Initially I liked the characters of the secondary leads more. An early breakout role for Seo Kang Joon before his leading roles as the likeable young guy in love with her. He was too good for her. The sister's story is quite sad but her freakout at the end isn't in keeping with her dignified personality from earlier. After all no one led her on. That is a weak part. Anyway the inevitable happy end feels a bit of an anti climax.
I loved it. It was funny, heartwarming, very well written and all in all an enjoyable watch. I recommend it
