For those skeptical of the messaging in the theology of this movie, go ahead and read 1 Corinthians 9:19. We meet people where they are at with the word of God. We use the tools of the enemy to destroy the enemy. Let us not forget this. This movie is great even though it's a low budget film. The messaging is great. Praise God. Hallelujah and amen. I wasn't expecting much when I chose this movie, and saw some of the reviews but I highly recommended as a believer in the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ to change all things for good . If you like, wholesome Christian family films with good values, and a strong storyline, watch this one!

I saw this recently on YouTube for free. Overall, it was a good movie in the sense of acting, filmography, and script. My only contention is that it promotes the idea that Christians need to 'Beat the world at its own game'. Basically, it says that rather than separating from the world, that Christians should try to beat the world at its own game by making movies, using radio, etc. This is the idea of Kingdom Now Theology in which we are to reform and Christianize the world, which is unbiblical.
First of all it's a wonderful idea to use media to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ. The problem comes when you start to measure your salvation based on works. The movie taught that if you go to movies that are ungodly and entertain yourself with them you may not be a Christian at all. Remember Galatians clearly teaches that we are not justified by the law but by faith in Christ. So if you're basing your Christianity on what you do then you're basing it on works. Now I'm not saying that Christians should live any way they want. In fact if you are truly a believer, it will manifest itself by your works. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. You cannot look at yourself to determine if you're saved or not. You are saved because you placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone plus nothing else.

I was raised christian and it's trash like this that sent me away from the Church. Christianity teaches us that the meek shall inherit the Earth but this movie teaches us that coercion and media manipulation will save us...
The irony is that all the things this story purports to be fighting for, is exactly their solution; fighting and persuasion to be a certain way (while at the same time, condemning the ways it disagrees with!).
At the end of the day (or end of days even), it will come to pass that the people who weren't judgemental of how others lived and were just kind, will find a place in Paradise and the people who tried to force their beliefs onto others or judged people because they had different ideologies than them, will be the ones banished for all eternity.
If you believe in that sort of thing.

It was about time that a movie producer took the active courage to reflect on his own industry. This movie is very much needed in today's society, probably not only in the US, but all over the world.
While writers such as the Anglican A. W. Tozer condemn the showing of Christian movies in a church and go as far as to strongly condemn the profession of an actor (plain legalism, although he certainly employs some truth), most of us on the other hand have become way to liberal when it comes to the consumption of non-Christian movies and even when it comes to 'Christian' movies.
The truth is found somewhere in between. We as Christians ought to avoid secular movies whenever possible (there is more than enough offer in good Christian movies as this ministry proves), while on the other hand much better discerning Christian movies (there are many very bad and actually damaging 'Christian' movies).
Quote of the movie:
"If you turn away from 'ung-dly' movies and media that doesn't make you right with the 'Lord' (KYRIOS). That can just be a work of the flesh. He said 'We must turn to the 'Lord' first and the SPIRIT of 'G-d' (THEOS) will help you turn from these 'ung-dly' movies and influences. It's always got to start with the 'Lord'. He needs to be the 'Lord' of our entertainment choices."

This movie is helping me to keep opening my eyes of the reality: this world has been infected by the presence of the enemy of The Lord Jesus Christ. It is gaining more and more place in our daily lives. One thing is true: WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OVERCOME IT.
I bless God for what He did, He does and will do. We need to desire more and more Jesus Christ all the time. I thank The Holy Spirit for this movie. Let Him keep our eyes open.

The acting was well done. I love the idea of more movies that lift us up and encourage strong family and personal relationships.
I recommend this movie.
I recommend this movie.
Someone else gets it! So thankful for this movie! My husband and I enjoyed it. We will be sharing it with our kids and family. Most Christian movies aren't "Christian" anymore. This one is and I'm thankful for it. I had my doubts when starting it but they were quickly alleviated. This is an all around great Christian movie that sends a very clear message. It wakes you up and warns about the "largest church in America". Blessings to all of the people involved in making this movie. We need more Jesus. And we need more people willing to show how modern world is corrupting us without our knowledge.
