Veera Chandrahasa is more than a film; it's a celebration of Karnataka's rich cultural tapestry. Ravi Basrur's dedication to authenticity, combined with stellar performances and musical brilliance, results in a cinematic experience that is both enlightening and entertaining. For those seeking a film that honors tradition while delivering compelling storytelling, Veera Chandrahasa is a must-watch.
Basrur's musical composition is a standout, with 600 to 700 tracks blending classical and folk beats. The soundtrack not only complements the visuals but also enhances the storytelling, making the film a sensory delight.

Veera Chandrahasa-it's a heartfelt homage to the rich heritage of Yakshagana, the vibrant traditional theatre form rooted in Karnataka's Karavali region. With powerful visuals, authentic storytelling, and a deep cultural resonance, the film bridges the gap between folklore and modern cinema.
Set against the backdrop of coastal Karnataka, the movie captures the grandeur and depth of Yakshagana performances, highlighting its unique blend of dance, music, dialogue, and elaborate costumes. The narrative pays tribute to the unsung heroes of this ancient art form, bringing forth the passion and dedication of performers who have kept it alive through generations.
The director deserves praise for maintaining the authenticity of Karavali traditions while crafting a story that feels both historical and emotionally compelling. The performances-especially by the lead, who embodies the spirit of Chandrahasa-are moving, with moments that leave a lasting impression.
In an age where traditional art forms often fade into obscurity, Veera Chandrahasa stands tall as a cinematic celebration of identity, legacy, and cultural pride.

What a movie and what an effort put by the Team. It's a honest effort put by Ravi Basrur to the Art of Yakshagana and to show it's Art form to the rest of the world who knows nothing about it. This attempt will benifit our next generations, inspiring them to learn and know this Art.
Storyline and screenplay is amazing, each fame looks great on the big screen. I request everyone please vist the theaters to view this movie and support and promote this movie. This will mean a lot to the Art of Yakshagana and the all the Artist of Yakshagana.
The music is an absolute treat to the ears. And the Bhagavatike of Ragavendra Janasali is outstanding and due the best Audio quality everything sounds Amazing.

Veera Chandrahasa is a wonderful film that brings together strong storytelling, powerful music, and rich culture. The screenplay is engaging, and the background music (BGM) and sound effects add a lot of impact to every scene.
One of the best parts of the movie is how it showcases Yakshagana, the traditional art form of the Karavali (coastal Karnataka) region. It's great to see our local culture represented so beautifully on screen. The visual storytelling is complemented by a rousing BGM that intensifies dramatic moments and stays with you long after the credits roll.
Overall, Veera Chandrahasa is a must-watch. It's a perfect mix of history, art, and emotion, and it truly leaves a lasting impression.

The movie is well narrated with excellent BGM. The artists and the director gave value for Yakshagana Art. Probably they could have included some "shringara natya" when Visheye enters the plot which is very common in Yakshagana. The Yakshagana music fused with other instruments and making it sound exactly like yakshagana music is mind blowing. Important factor is they involved almost all popular Yakshagana bhagavaths in the songs. I think some Yakshagana dance (natya) would have added more flavour to the movie. Overall great attempt and unique approach from the director. Hats off. Thank you for such a wonderful movie.
