Art wise, what this pilot demonstates is superb. I just cant get over how GOOD the backgrounds, designs and characterizations are. The world looks so lived in, something even big studios miss sometimes. Honestly I dont have mich else to comment on, the animation is pure eye candy. If you like quality animation, its reason enough to sit down and watch it.
As far as writing goes, I love it, its great. Out of all of Glitch's shows so far, this is by far the best written pilot. The pace in the beginning is a little fast, but completely understandable as it is a pilot trying to establish itself and its characters. I've seen people say that theyve had a hard time following, but I think part of that is simply the fact that we dont get enough shows like this that make us question and think. Its supposed to confusing!! Its the first episode!! We are meant to be left with questions that make us want more. As far as the profanity, I can see why it may turn some people off, but to me its not at all ecsessive. I know a lot of people who speak like that, it sounds natural, especially for overworked, exaughsted people.
Really, I cannot wait fo see more of this, Ive already bought some merch to support the show!!
