Hello, This movie is very simple and nice showing life of people in konkan especially in the cell phone less era. It took me back 30 years before right into that era where television was only telecasting for one hour and for which we had to wait for hours. City life has became so stressed and fast that we almost forget to live in this moment. Its better than those Bollywood movies buggeted with 100 of crores.

April May 99 takes one on a journey through nostalgia, an era back in time before humankind got taken over by mobile phones and everything which accompanies it.

The performances of the main leads as well as the actors in supporting roles is refreshing, natural and effortless. The story & screenplay is so rooted, one realises it has been penned by people who have actually lived it.

Dialogues are so well nuanced. A movie which reminded me that the small things of our lives have such a tremendous abilities to make our heart full with joy.
