The idea is nice at first glance (but nothing more), but poorly executed. The teenager is given powerful powers and thus becomes integrated into the system. The animation is once again rather cheap, with far too few interludes, resulting in a very halting, slow flow, but a lot of still images. The backgrounds are also rather poor.
The series has two main characters. The first is the protagonist. A whiny person who, even as one of the two most powerful figures in the world, remains a shy deer who must be protected by her significantly weaker prince. The image of women conveyed is awful. The character is built up only to be completely dismantled, especially in the finale.
Even worse, however, is that the protagonists are on the completely wrong side. They want to defend law and justice - but what they are actually protecting is the status quo. The rich, the powerful, the nobles. They don't care about the common people. Those who want to change that rotten system are turned into criminals. The the taken path may be wrong, but the intention is understandable, and morality is on her side. But we ignore morality as long as there are fairy tales with beautiful dresses and princes. I thought we'd be further along by 2025.

Sophia, a shy girl who lacks confidence, is blessed by the Gorilla God and suddenly finds herself over-powered. She wants to hide in the background, but given her new powers, she is ordered to try out as an apprentice knight. Her plan was to deliberately fail and return to obscurity, but when she sees a very handsome knight, she decides maybe she will try after all.
What follows are a number of funny slap-stick moments caused by her new super strength. Her low self esteem gradually improves as she makes new friendships among the knights. The romance that develops is innocent and sweet. There is also some light action, often with a humorous twist.
The animation is straight forward but competent. The voice acting is good.
When you are in the mood for some light entertainment, I recommend you give this a try.

My main problem with the show is my main problem with a lot of newer anime the main character is just lame and I don't mean character design or personality she started out honestly cool and it does have a very unique and original power system but here we are.
(None spoiler version) long story short the MC lets everybody walk all over her and then when they're confronted and only confronted because they regret being caught not because they regret mistreating the MC the MC just completely forgives them and moves on like a push over. Let me be eat it is not strength to just forgive everyone it's strength to stand up for yourself and not let people walk all over you NO MATTER THERE SITUATION it will never be good to let people betray you and than just forgive them. Just lame not everything's about power and standing up to people and yada yada yada but if you're going to create a show revolving around in main character with the powers of a fudging gorilla they can't be a pussycat and that shouldn't be a hot take😂 you find me a gorilla in the wild that will let you treat it with ANYTHING but respect and I'll apologize tell then(never) it's idiotic to have the MC be that much of a push over if you want passive mc's watch slice of life.
The text under this has basically the entire plot of episode 5 sooooo yea read at your own risk
(spoiler not about over all story but specific events in episode 5 that I have a problem with)
She gets bullied because some other girls are envious of the mc. Her then best friend literally locks her in a box just because said noble envious girls told her too and this leads to the mc nearly losing her life. Not only that they had blatantly cut her dress with a pair of scissors(before the box part) and everyone saw and it was pointed out by mc's date infact he wacked the scissors out of bad girls hand making a huge scene. He is also a respected person yet the dress cutters enjoyed the rest of the party with ZERO problems and like I said guy is respected so its not like the bad nobles got away with it because they are nobles. The bad girls than went on to lock the mc in a box😂 you would think a teacher would be apprehending the ones who just got cought commiting assault but nope. After everything unfolds the woman that mistreated the mc including her best "friend" say that a teacher saw the whole thing so they have to apologize. OKAY 1 if a teacher saw a student literally assault another with a pair of scissors they wouldn't just not do anything😂. 2 the bad woman only apologized because they got caught they regret being in trouble not harassing the mc. 3 the mc just forgave them without a second thought including the "friend". Just a push over lame excuse for a mc. No worse just lazy writing because the mc literally stands up for herself 5 seconds before this just inconsistent dribble . IDC how "mature" you think you are if you forgive someone after doing that your a naive child end of convo. Fool me once as they say. I don't even leave reviews often(I have watched WAY to many shows tho so I'm just as qualified as the next) but I had to come leave a review for this it's getting annoying. Finding a show that has a lot of potential getting invested over the month it takes to watch just 4 episodes just for them to start popping a squat and calling it the next episode. I swear people mix up emotional maturity with lacking a backbone😂

This series is set in a world where, at the age of sixteen, people receive an 'animal blessing'. Protagonist Sophia Reeler is surprised, and not initially pleased, to receive the rare blessing of the Gorilla God; this makes her incredibly strong as well as fast and agile. This leads to her becoming a trainee knight. This in turn leads to her meeting and befriending Louis Scarrel; a particularly popular knight. As the series progresses they become closer and she gradually comes to terms with her blessing. She and her friends later found them confronting revolutionaries who are determined to overthrow the establishment.
I thought this series was rather fun, if not in the way I was expecting. It is more of a romance than the fantasy adventure I expected. That isn't to say there is no action; there is a decent amount and it increases as the series progresses. The characters are likeable; especially Sophia who is a good lead. The story plays out nicely leading to a solid finale. Overall a fun series; perhaps not a must watch but it passes the time nicely if you are looking for something light.
These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

This is a super cute anime, with laughs, action, romance and magic.
The characters are fun, likable, and bring great comedic relief.
The gorilla god is another character that shares these qualities, which I found extremely surprising, but have throughly enjoyed. The main character who is a heroine is also quite fun, and relatable. Her reactions to events range from hilarious to heroic, she has a lot of great of qualities.
Needless to say, if you are looking for something fun to take a break from another series, I recommend this show. It's easy going, and interesting. I have really enjoyed watching it.
