My Unwanted Billionaire Ex

It was nice to find a vertical that employed clever (not dumb) humor in the script. The love/hate reparte was light and engaging. The two leads were able to deliver that style of humor well....and seemed very much their natural acting skill. The character role for Noah Fearnley was right in his acting sweet spot and, apparently for Haley Evans as well. The usual vertical film antagonism was not too repetitious nor overdone. The onscreen chemistry between the leads was good. The only improvement I would make is to have Haley Evans wear some bolder eye makeup for her scenes. The one time she uses it, in the wedding scene, makes a big difference in her sex appeal look. Also, lose the high waisted short shorts...IMO not a flattering fashion.

Declan (superb Noah Fearnley) what can I say about you ? I adore your interactions with Charlotte (amazing Haley Evans). I had fun from the beginning to the end. The lines are just golden nuggets : eg. "Princess Sophie is in her period" I appreciate the protective side of Declan, via Cedar.

All the cast deserves to be awarded because the actors are brilliant. Jennifer you are badass. Enzo is so supportive.

Haley Evans, you are a beautiful woman, your interactions with Noah are just amazing. Your expressions and your replies are just priceless.

Noah, have you ever thought about a mime role ? Because your facial expressions speak louder than words. You are a great actor and will go far.

You have a wonderful chemistry with your female leads, I really appreciate that.

After leaving her love at the alter because she was told she had cancer, Charlotte has to try and piece her life back together, 3 years later a chance run in with her ex leads to an interesting turn of events.

What is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives is turned upside down when Charlotte Pope (Haley Evans) announces she is actually in love with Harry Brown (Troy Tripicchio), Charlottes Friend and leaving Declan Franco (Noah Fearnley) heartbroken at the alter. What Declan doesn't know is that Charlotte had been given a cancer diagnosis and was breaking up with him so he would be able to continue building his startup. 3 Years later, Charlotte is working at a bar and runs into Declan on accident, where Declan, who is now a successful businessman and very wealthy, just so happens to be, following what Charlotte hopes is a one night stand, Declan instructs his assistant, Enzo, to make her an offer she cannot refuse, ultimately becoming not only her boss but also her landlord. While they both try to avoid their feelings for one another, they, of course, rekindle their relationship - despite the efforts of not only a psycho ex boss and business partner! What entails is a hilarious series of events that will have you laughing until you have tears in your eyes.

Hayley Evans is bloody BRILLIANT as Charlotte Pope, her facial expressions and quick whit had me laughing literally out loud, this was the first series I had seen Hayley in and I became an instant fan, her acting abilities are outstanding and I cannot wait to see what else this girl can do!

Noah Fearnley, this is the funnnniessstt character Noah has played, is portrayal of Declan Franco was without a doubt in my mind, my favourite of all of his roles. As with Hayley, his facial expressions (one of which I have included in this post because it makes me laugh so hard), use of "hmm" and voice inflections are completely on point for this character and I hope to see more of Noah in roles like this! (Also, please tell me why the childs drawing was used to cover his naked body!!! - I laughed at this with Sam for about an hour)

From the moment I first watched this series, it became an instant favourite and I have rewatched and rewatched over and over again because each and every time I still end up laughing my head off, I hope you all love it as much as I do!

It was refreshing to encounter a vertical film employing genuinely witty humor in its screenplay rather than relying on lowbrow comedy. The lighthearted yet engaging love/hate repartee between protagonists was skillfully delivered by both leads, showcasing their natural comedic aptitude. Noah Fearnley's character aligned perfectly with his acting strengths, as did Haley Evans' role with her evident talents. The characteristic vertical film antagonism maintained effective balance-neither repetitive nor excessive. Lead actor chemistry translated convincingly onscreen.

For potential enhancements: I'd recommend employing bolder eye makeup for Haley Evans throughout her scenes. The single instance during the wedding sequence markedly elevated her onscreen allure. Additionally, reconsidering the high-waisted shorts would be advisable, as the cut currently detracts from the character's visual appeal.

I love Noah and Haley together. The chemistry is over the top. Noah's character, Declan, is someone you just want to hang out with. He just makes me smile with his comedy banter. Haley is excellent in this part. She broke up with him at the wedding and ends up seeing him years later where he ends up being her boss and landlord. The banter is so cute between them at times. The sweetness in him when he's worried he might've taken a prank too far on Charlotte/Haley is really charming. I did learn about a fruit I never knew about in this vertical, durian. The crazy jealous woman or a few in this case, are pretty psycho and all play their parts well. There are so many times in this movie when I just want to give Declan a big hug because he is so broken or in love, we don't know which. This is such great acting on Noah's part. Emotional. I will watch this again for sure.
