First off, that title is super misleading. I went into this expecting something sci-fi or truly about a parallel universe, but nope apparently, Cirrus is just making up stories in his head? I honestly had high hopes for this one, especially with the cool premise, but I ended up feeling a bit disappointed.
I do like the main couple, though! I first saw them in Love in the Air, and they had such great chemistry there. That's partly why I stuck with this one. But here, Cirrus feels like he might be dealing with multiple personality disorder or some kind of dissociation, which is never really explained clearly. It gives the story a mysterious edge, but also leaves you confused, like, "What exactly is happening here?"
That said, the cinematography is stunning, and the visuals are vibrant and clean. Btw, I actually found myself more invested in the side couple and their unique dynamic, especially the whole mind-reading twist. That was kind of fun!
To be honest, though, I kinda just finished it because I already started it, I feel like I was forced to finish it lol, but hey, I saw it through.

Very well done, the plot draws you in from the beginning, plot twist, incredible, charismatic actors, an exciting and cute story. BossNoeul is incredible in each episode. Congratulations to the entire team, the photography, the filming are beautiful. I wouldn't like to give spoilers, but the plot really gets you, because it gives you several thoughts about what happens, it knows how to guide you and then show you out of nowhere that it wasn't that, but something else. There is the novel, but I recommend not being guided by it too much, the series is enough to watch, because there are some details that change, then you can read it and have another view of the story.
More people need to watch this incredible series. If you're sure if you are into Thai BL then this is a good series to start with. Although there is a romatic storyline, the plot goes so much more beyond that. It's abount acceptance of others and yourself, friendship and the heartbreaking importance of family and the role they play in your life. The acting is phenomenal to the point where believe what you're watching is real, and everying from set design, liighting, editing etc is all carefully crafted and thought out down to the smallest detail. If you enjoy a love story with a magical twist to keep you guessing. Try watching The Boy Next World.
This is one of the most captivating BL series I've watched so far. The visuals, color grading, CGI, storyline, and especially the performances by Boss and Noeul as P'Cir and N'Phu were outstanding. The series is a complete package, blending action, drama, comedy, and fantasy seamlessly. Kudos to the entire cast and crew of the TBNW series-every actor played their role perfectly, with no one feeling unnecessary or like a wasted resource. The parallel world element added an exciting twist, and Boss delivered a spectacular performance. Plus, the OSTs(Parallel, Stay) are among the best in the industry for a series. I encourage everyone to give this incredible series a chance with an open mind and without bias. It's definitely a watch worth your time!
P. S: NC is among the best in the industry, and we're talking about BossNoeul here. Their romance and romantic scenes are simply unmatched and untouchable.

I think this is the best MMY series so far. I have never enjoyed a thai BL plot this much before. Normally personally i didn't like the plots of most thai BLs (except kinnporshe) that I've watched, i just think most have no good plot just cringe dialogues and stuff with lots of plot holes, but for the boy next world , i loved everything about it. The acting, the OSTs , the storylines, the aesthetics , the characters EVERYTHING. The OSTs deserve some good awards because I've never been so obsessed with a Thai Bl OST this much before. It's definitely worth watching imo. It's true tho that the ending doesnt really match with the whole vibe of the series and i wished they changed it a little bit, but it was also really cute adorable and wholesome. I was never a fan of BossNoeul before even though I watched Love in the air several times (their previous show if u are new to the fandom), i mean i liked them for sure but i wasn't really into the fandom. It was the trailer of TBNW that made me interested and then i started watching BN videos and stuff and once the first ep came out i became a fan instantly. Their acting were incredible in the series and I genuinely think they deserve more praises for this series.
