    Redefining the Limits of Gaming

Every once in a while, a game comes along that completely redefines what we thought was possible. Split Fiction isn't just a game-it's an experience, an emotional rollercoaster that grabs you from the very first scene and never lets go.

From the jaw-dropping visuals to the mind-bending storytelling, Split Fiction delivers on every level. The graphics are simply out of this world, with effects so stunning they feel like something straight out of a sci-fi blockbuster. Every environment, every particle of light, and every shadow is crafted with an almost obsessive level of detail.

But it's not just about the visuals-the storytelling is where Split Fiction truly shines. Each storyline, whether it's the epic main narrative or the deeply personal sidestories, is crafted with such care that it's impossible not to get emotionally invested. The side stories? Absolutely heartbreaking. The main story? Pure genius. Twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat, leaving you speechless more times than you can count.

And then there are the mechanics-smooth, intuitive, and wildly satisfying. Every combat move, every puzzle, every interaction feels meaningful and polished to perfection. There's this moment when you pull off a perfect combo, or when a plot twist hits you like a freight train, and all you can do is sit there with a stunned "wow" expression. That's Split Fiction in a nutshell-pure, unfiltered excellence.

This game isn't just a must-play. It's a must-feel. Whether you're a sci-fi junkie, a fantasy lover, or just someone who appreciates masterful game design, Split Fiction is an unforgettable journey that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

Would have given a 9.5, would have liked more endings.

Easy GOTY contender enjoyed every chapter with my friend and can't wait to see Hazelight does next. Got the same vibes from It Takes Two. Every chapter felt fresh due to the new abilities you get. The characters had good chemistry and the ending was good for what it was worth. Would have appreciated a bit more endings but still happy with the one I got. The villain was good and it created memories that I will remember for a while. The length was perfect, not too short or too long. If you liked It Takes Two or A Way Out then don't wait. This game is a masterpiece and unless we get GTA 6 this year, expect it to win Gam Of The Year.

A step back from "It takes two"

I don't know why people cannot, or refuse to, admit that the games of this studio aren't all that interesting. "A way out" was, of course, a very unique game, and the true co-op was felt fresh. But that was about it. The gameplay mechanics however, don't feel as well thought, since you are mostly just spamming or holding a single button in order to complete tasks. Apart from this the acting performances were awkward, with animations not managing to maintain any sort of illusion of the characters being human, and the story was mostly lackluster.

"It takes two" built upon the framework laid down by the co-op in a way out, and in my opinion did a great job of refining it. It was a great successor in the genre, with much more engaging mechanics for cooperation, cool areas to explore and fun easter eggs. All displays amazing creativity. The acting being far better, although with a still not so impressive character roster.

It saddens me to say that I this new game is a step backwards in from "It takes two", in every way really. The story is also so boring and nonsensical that I stopped listening about halfway through, with the characters being worse than ever. Mio has a dad, Zoe has a sister and Rader has a company. The animation of dialogue (again) doesn't either really help keeping the illusion of the characters being human.

As for the actual gameplay, most mechanics are usually only utilised in one way, and not explored further than "heres a thing that does this; now do it please and let the puzzle be over with". Also many of the mechanics are back to being holding or spamming a button. That being said, there is some bits of gold to be found, the captcha being one of them). The level design is extremely linear, with almost nothing to interact with. Except for the mole village, there are almost no places where you can find these little fun easter eggs and interactables, which is a shame since the last title did it so well. Lastly, the difficulty is almost non-existent; neither puzzles nor gameplay-wise. This is of course not objectively bad, but some sort of challenge would have been nice, even if it were optional.

All in all, I don't think this game is horrible, but not particularly good either. Should you play it? If you liked the previous ones, I'd say give it a go, but you're really not missing out by not playing.

    Spilt fiction

Split Fiction is an absolute masterpiece of co-op gaming. From start to finish, it delivers an engaging, well-paced experience packed with creative mechanics and stunning environments. Every level introduces something fresh, keeping the gameplay exciting and unpredictable. The teamwork-based design makes every moment feel meaningful, and the balance between action, puzzles, and exploration is nearly flawless.

The visuals are breathtaking, seamlessly blending sci-fi and fantasy elements into a world that feels alive and immersive. The voice acting and character interactions add depth, making the journey even more enjoyable. The story, while not the most groundbreaking, serves its purpose well and keeps players invested.

What truly sets Split Fiction apart is how well it understands co-op gameplay. It never feels like one player is carrying the other-both have to contribute, making teamwork essential and rewarding. The Friend's Pass feature is a great addition, making it easier to experience with friends.

Overall, Split Fiction is a must-play for anyone who loves cooperative games. It's fun, creative, and filled with memorable moments. Easily a 10/10 experience.

    Coop-Gaming Masterpiece

First of all I'd like to say that I never really do reviews, but this game forced me to do it. This game combines great gameplay mechanics and an incredible creativity in every single level you play through. Every level is unique in its environment. This is topped off by relatable characters you can empathize with and a touching heartfelt story. I loved It Takes Two but I loved this game even more. You can feel the love and passion the game developers put into every aspect of this game. A fresh breath of air in the current gaming industry. Being able to play this game coop made this an even better experience for me. Without a doubt the best coop game I ever played!
