This well-produced film revolving around a family restaurant business has plenty of strong drama, mixed in with some good chuckles, and some engaging emotional moments. The backdrop of the restaurant business makes for some interesting setups, but it is the characters-their nuances and endearing quirkiness-that give the film the most entertainment value and it's heart.
This was a film that simply made you feel good. Centered around a group brought together to work at a restaurant under crazy circumstances we find true human kindness prevails over all going against them. You will recognize many of the cast, and they do a great job. It is simple story that is simply told. And that is a big compliment. It's just plain nice to watch start to finish. Worth a watch.

This movie captures the spirit of indie filmmaking: a story that is grounded, underdog, and full of the human spirit. The cast is diverse and fun to watch. Some of the best lines from characters you wouldn't expect. It was a little predictable by the end, but that's not enough to be upset at the film. Two thumbs up!

This is a beautifully told story full of heart about a zany group of misfits who work in a dinner. It's a story told without superheros, without car chases, or guns; it's a story told with insight about the human spirit. It's about surviving in today's world. We need more movies like TURNOVER.

Turnover is a fantastic uplifting film that resonates on so many levels. For anyone who has struggled to build a business, or has worked in a struggling office, you will identify with the characters. If you are looking for acceptance and community, this film will reinforce the wonderful possibilities that are out there. If you have experienced health or relationship issues, or have indulged in retirement fantasies, join the Turnover crowd. This is a marvelous modern day story that reminds us that life can be very good at the simplest levels. It is delicious in messaging, visuals and music. Thanks to Linda Palmer, cast and crew for bringing this heartwarming story to the screen!

This is a light hearted story that feels like it could be on the Hallmark or Lifetime channel. Its story of a ragtag group coming together feels familiar, but is heart warming nonetheless. It has nice locations and the actors do a good job. If you're looking for a sweet and family-friendly film, give it a try.

When friends review your movie... You'll get 9s and 10s.
Somehow this got produced. Too many weak storylines, too much forced or bad acting, way too much bad dialogue.
There are some bright spots, some (3) of the actors can actually act. The main storyline is nice, but unremarkable.

"Turnover" is Very Entertaining and Groundbreaking!
Each character is unique having their own journey and culminating in an uplifting and positive conclusion for one and all.
Filmmaker, Linda Palmer, set the Gold Standard for her use of diversity casting of leads and background actors, breaking stereotypes left and right.
Solid and heartwarming indie. I've been searching for these kinds of movies where I can get a positive emotional payoff. Yeah, the pandemic has been getting me down, and this movie is precisely what I need. I super dug the acting, especially Paul Guilfoyle. From the trailer and the beginning, I knew what I was getting into and that I was in good hands.

Not sure if we're in a twilight zone reading these high reviews. Acting is painful. We understand the story is cute, but everything seems so forced.

I had the pleasure of watching this film at the Bentonville Film Festival and was thoroughly entertained! I love a film that I think about for several days after watching. One where you can relate to the story and the characters. It was about real life with laughs, smiles and tears! LOVED IT!

Turnover is a heartwarming little indie that I stumbled upon when skimming through the new releases on Amazon, and I'm happy I checked it out. Paul Guilfoyle, who you might recognize from several other projects, has some health issues and his doctor recommends that he take some time off from his cafe. Paul's disgruntled manager ends up hiring what seems to be a rag tag group to take care of the cafe while he's gone, but what's great is that the group really grows together and shows what they have to offer. The unlikely team of misfits rally around each other and it's really sweet. I think Turnover was just the film I needed while I'm still stuck here in quarantine.
A great story with good music and winning performances. Perfect for anyone who has ever worked in a diner or gone to one. Real-life characters in real-life situations. Not surprised at all the well-deserved awards..

Light hearted and feel good film. The story centered around a group of misfits banding together is something the world really needs right now. Good performances all around, but especially from Paul Guilfoyle who never disappoints. And the score completes the package. Recommend this film!
A heartwarming story of a restauranteur in need, being supported by his "weird" employees after a medical condition rendered him partially incapacitated.
Awesome film. Loved it and will watch it again and again. Do yourself a favor and kick back and be spoon fed (pun) a great movie

Every day the news is off the charts depressing. So a little light and joy is really needed right now. This movie delivers laughs, friendship, joy, love... and just made me incredibly happy! A group of outsiders coming together make this cafe feel a little like the 80's sit-com Cheers to me. A place that makes you feel at home and laugh at the same time. Though Turnover is more family-friendly. But still, that same welcoming vibe. Featuring a great cast and story, this a sweet film, very lovingly made.

Turnover is a story of a group of misfits trying to open a franchise restaurant. Turnover delivers a lot of heart with a strong set of diverse characters. Great performances, especially from Carlos Carrasco as Miguel. Well worth the watch.
I laughed. I cried. I laugher harder. I cried again. Such a touching story with brilliant acting and music. Turnover is a comedic antidote to so much violence that kids witness. Bring the whole family! There something for everyone who has ever felt like a misfit. And who hasn't?
