Seikoku no Dragonar

Well, I read the reviews of this and I have to come down on the side of the positive ones. The person offering the negative one doesn't seem to understand this is not "War & Peace," this is a CARTOON: anime created for the sake of tickling your fancy with fantastic fantasy and giving you a light and interesting story, which it surely does. Sure, the young teen girls have DD boobs and more with incredible hourglass figures, but that's part of the charming fantasy. The animation itself is very smooth, exceptionally colorful, more so than most animes, and the characters and backgrounds visually captivating to look at. The story is fine: hero guy, heroine girl with helpful associates and bad guys, and that's pretty much true of most stories. It's how they do all this that is important, and they do it well enough to provide interest and a generally good time watching it.

What more can I say besides I REALLY wish there were one or two more seasons so that they could wrap up the entire plot and show the rest of the partial story lines they hinted in the first season!

I truly liked Dragonar Academy even though like a lot of 12 episode series it ended without closing up all the story threads.Beware though this show does have quite a few cliques but I think it is just that kind of show. It was light hearted action fun. I however do believe it would have been much better if they continued the story and cleared up all the plot holes. Still I recommend to anyone just looking for a nice way to pass the time.

Good anime.. the above review is bullshit. if you watch anime then watch this one. if you are new to anime then don't. overall it is a good series with good ratings and seeders. :p enjoy.

In a land of dragons, where citizens called breeders tame their dragon pals. Races of dragons are born from breeders who are given a Seikoku: a dragon star-shape brand.

Learning to ride and tame dragons comes easy to most students at Ansarivan Dragonar Academy—except for first-year student Ash Blake, who is known by his classmates as the "number one problem child." Despite his unfashionably large star-shaped brand that marks him as a future dragon master, he has nothing to show for it. His dragon has never appeared. Until now, that is. One fateful day, Ash's dragon awakes in full glory, but appears different than any dragon ever seen before. What's more, Ash soon discovers that this new dragon has attitude to spare, as she promptly informs him that she is the master, and he, the servant. Ash's problems with dragon riding have only just begun.

This is a great show and I'm waiting on more seasons to come. I will watch it again later. The first review giving it only one star must be written by the finest writer of anime to be so critical. He's wrong regardless of his profession.
