ok if you like this kind of thing.

I liked _Airplane!_ so I thought this was worth the time. Like _Airplane!_, et al., It's stupid and it's supposed to be stupid, so it tracks. Unfamiliar with most of the actors, I was drawn in by the simplicity. Is that really Michael Bublé'? Who the heck is Dave Bautista? Is Jack Whitehall a real person or fictional? It's as good as any mockumentary. I enjoy inside nods to other movies and breaking the fourth wall. Will I seek out other Jack Whitehall movies now? No, but at least now I know who he and the rest of the cast are. I think the introduction of the movie, where he goes to Bublé's house, is worth the price of admission alone.

I've never reviewed anything but this deserves it

Probably the worst thing I've ever watched.

I've given 1* for it having Tom Davis and Michael Bublè in, who normally I like.

It's like it was written by drama students. I don't know why anyone agreed to be in it. I could not wait for it to finish.

There was one funny moment which I don't think could've been part of the script, as Tom David isn't a stuntman....

I'm so confused at what I have just watched. It wasn't even ironic- it was the cheapest and worst comedy I've ever seen and I don't know who commissioned it, or signed off the final edit but they should never work in tv again.

Don't waste you time watching this.

Absolutely Dreadful

I thought the "Travels With My Father" series was alright - yes it was all very staged, but there were some moments where you could see they had a genuine connection and were having a great time hanging out with each other... and it made it quite fun to watch, with some exaggerated gags based on their genuine interactions with each other during the trip.

This just feels like a bad idea cobbled together in a few minutes. Clearly the father was the main draw in the previous series, because nothing Jack Whitehall says here is remotely entertaining and the whole things just feels very forced and awkward.

A Christmas disaster.

This is so cringe. It's dreadful. The acting is awful, which means the directing was awful. The production is amateurish, and the lighting is surprisingly bad. It's like they didn't have enough money to hire a lighting director and they only had one light that one of the grips held up.

I have no idea who Jack is, but he is very British and he is not remotely funny.

None of the "jokes" land. It's like watching a comedian bomb on Kill Tony, where the crowd is deadly silent. This movie is so horrible that it might develop a cult following because of a drinking game where you do shots every time a joke doesn't land.

This feels like it was shot in one day. I don't even know who wrote this because I just didn't care enough to find out. Maybe the whole thing is improvised, but if that is the case it still blows.

The fact that this garbage was made ruined my Christmas.

This was silly but I was never bored

I don't really have much more to say than that. This was something a little different to break up the Hallmark movies and I laughed and enjoyed myself. There's lots of lovely scenery and a rapid journey through different modes of transportation and winter sports.

The main thing driving the story - his inability to get home - of course makes no sense, but that's made clear from the start. None of it is meant to be taken seriously.

I thought it was funny, and hopefully the kind of people who will enjoy it won't be dissuaded by the low rating. Why is everyone so hard on comedy? I think we need more of it.

Recommend this to anyone you hate this Christmas ....

If you want to annoy your Family this Christmas, welcome home. This abomination of a Holiday Special aimed to recreate some of the comedic holiday joy of movie classics like 'Planes Trains and Automobiles' but missed something .... Talent, humour, comedy, soul, a plot, and characters we could relate to. The only thing that could have salvaged this disaster was if Krampus had suddenly appeared and decapitated Jack Whitehall so we could all have a nice quiet Christmas without dealing with this insufferable inane twits rambling ......Congrats Jack you've made such a bad feature it'll be the topic of whats the worst movie of 2024 ......

Silly Fun

It was humorous, far-fetched, storytelling that I actually laughed out loud while watching. The movie is about Jack Whitehall, a British comedian and actor, telling the tale of his chaotic trip home for Christmas. The famous people who were woven into the story were great sports. I'm sure each of them had fun filming this, because it's so different from their usual jobs. I don't know why this movie has garnered such low ratings. Maybe the low ratings were by people who were expecting a different type of movie. If you're expecting a Hallmark Christmas story, this isn't it. But, it is a nice change of pace and good for laughs.

Profanity does not equal funny

I watched the first ten minutes hoping for better language, but it never happened. I do not enjoy every sentence have the "F" bomb especially coming from a great singer like Buble. The film had so much potential in a great script, wonderful plot and excellent comedy approach. When will hollywood learn that only a few people out there like the potty mouth lines uttered by "A" lister actors. Hey did I mention that this is a Christmas movie?

I watched what I could, until the profanity failed to stop and the lines were not improving at all. I loved the actors who were going to show up in this movie. Just not the dialogue.

Classic Whitehall nonsense

If you like Jack Whitehall then you will love this. From the start this "film" makes absolutely clear that the contents and story is absolute nonsense, and with Jack Whitehall involved you should expect nothing less.

Reminiscent of Travels with my Father and Cordon's Carpool Karaoke (minus the singing, well apart from the carol singers 🤣). This is brilliant Christmas nonsense packed with celebrity cameos. Buble is such a star 😂 Just don't mention the "C" word! 🎄

If you don't know who Jack Whitehall is then you may be in for a bit of a shock. Unlike Die Hard, this is not a serious Christmas movie. 🎅

Great fun got Jack Whitehall fans only

Whoever left the review saying they were expecting a new Die Hard should not be allowed to leave a review. Seriously! It's Jack Whitehall. I mean... really, Die Hard?

Anyway, I put this film on in the background, expecting it to be unwatchable, but it's actually very funny... If you like Jack's humour. If you don't, why are you watching? A lot of it seems unscripted, the celebs just kind of go with it which brings some genuine laughs from those involved. Some, like the British bob sled team are clearly not actors, but it's sn enjoyable cameo and brings with it multiple Cool Runnings references. Again, you need to be a fan to appreciate it. The end is rubbish, I have to say. But the rest of it very watchable. It's more of a watch in the afternoon while prepping the dinner or playing cards with friends type of film, than a 'whole family sit down to watch together of an evening' type of film. But it's fun, funny and I do recommend... if you're a Jack Whitehall fan. If you're a Die Hard fan, go and watch Die Hard.

Rubbish in Time for Christmas..

While I had no idea what the 2024 movie "Jack in Time for Christmas" was about, I figured that it was a Christmas movie.

And imagine my surprise when it turned out that this was pretty far from being a Christmas movie. In fact, pretty far even from being a movie. This was essentially nothing more than Jack Whitehall sitting around and talk with Michael Bublé.

I managed to endure a staggering 17 minutes of absolute rubbish here, then I tossed the towel in the ring out of sheer and utter boredom. This had nothing to do with a Christmas movie.

This is not something I will return to attempt finish watching, as there was nothing entertaining about it. Nor did the contents capture my interest at all.

My rating of director Phil Ashton's 2024 "Jack In Time For Christmas" lands on a one out of ten stars. This was an absolute dumpster fire.

Got suckered into this by the comparisons to Die Hard

I got suckered into this by my wife. I had also heard some people on the radio saying it was the new Die Hard (best Christmas movie of all time). It had a few funny gags, but overall not worth the time. I'd watch Die Hard any time before watching this again.

The part I found the most annoying was the guys wife responding to his texts. The plot was pretty dumb to start with and the things the guy did were pretty off topic. Everytime he would send his wife a tex about what was happening, she would send a reply that was really obnoxious instead of "that sounds like you are going through a lot to get home". Guess that hit a little too close to home.

If you don't like Jack Whitehall this isn't for you

All the poor reviews on here are not fair. Jack's humour is not for everyone, if you don't like him or british humour you won't like this show. I loved it, and laughed out loud many many times. Sure the premise is ridiculous, but it is meant to be. His interactions with Michael Buble are worth the watch alone. If you appreciate his humour then give this a go otherwise move along but don't put poor reviews in for a show you clearly don't understand or appreciate it's not fair to all the people that took the time to create it and put their time into. I loved this special and if you love Jack Whitehall and his type of humour you will love it too.

Fun, happy nonsense!

We loved it - it's the kind of nonsense British humour that you would expect from Jack Whitehall. The Tom Davis section was our favourite.

It's not going to win any awards but it kept us smiling and laughing and was a nice easy watch.

Obviously it's semi-scripted but that's part of the fun of it.

I can't help but think that the grumpy miserable people who have reviewed it just don't understand daft humour, or British humour. If you're the sort of person who doesn't take themselves too seriously, and doesn't pick everything apart (and perhaps if you are not American!!) then you'll enjoy this.

Not particularly Christmassy but still a good watch!

Brilliantly biazzare

This film was incredibly bizzare and was very clearly quite improvised but that's what made it so funny!

There was a lot of swearing and sexual references, so I agree with the age rating of 16.

Sometimes it's hard to keep up with the timeline of the story, but as the film continues it's more clear.

This film isn't everyone cup of tea but when it reaches the right audience it is hilarious!!

I love Jack Whitehall's humour and the appearances of a range of celebrities who each have their own character with exaggerated personality traits as it helps the storyline continue.

It's definitely not the best film I've ever watched, but it was definitely worth my time!!

Jack all the way

I have no idea why this has low reviews. If you enjoy Jacks blunt humour, then this is an extention to all his other show.

With great star guest appearances, this JACK IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS is amazing.

No animals or persons were harmed in the making but the Egg was.

Great work Jack. Now lets do Jack to the future next. I want an extras roll in that or should I ask Ricky J for that.

It is now saying my review us too short, a little like Jacks member.

True fact, the name bobsleigh comes from Jack bobbing his pants but he will tell you it's just an egg.

ROXY having 2 children to look after, I feel for you.

It's great to see rebal and Jack back on a train again together.

Just fun and funny!

Is this a Christmas classic? Absolutely not. But it is fun and it's funny. I enjoy Jack Whitehall's humor and I like the people that he brought on. There are plenty of F bombs thrown about, so I would say it's not appropriate for kids. The ice hockey scene had to be the funniest. And after all, Jack has put his dad through on previous travel shows it was kind of fun to see him be concerned about what he had to do on this silly journey. All in all it was fun to watch and if you just want some mindless humor, this is a good place to go. Don't be afraid to sit and watch it and just have a few laughs.

HILARIOUS!!!

I'm not exactly sure what all the fuss is about with people putting bad reviews on this movie but I do know they just do not have good humor. This movie had me laughing from beginning to end. The "jokes that don't land" that people are calling out are, in my opinion, the best ones! Seeing these famous actors be so raw and just having fun brings me so much joy! I will be adding this to my list of Christmas traditions and im so excited to watch it again and again. Do not listen to the people hating on the raw jokes and mis mash of genres. Those are what make this movie wonderful! It's unique, hilarious, authentic, and kept me laughing the whole time. Me whole family loved it!
