Santa Tell Me

Wow! Hallmark came up with a great new plot for Santa Tell Me. No tired retreads here. Erin is the best I've ever seen her in this movie - so real, natural, and charming. And I LOVE having four Hallmark leading men vying for her. It is just fantastic fun. Each of the three initial contenders does a fantastic job portraying the potential right guy, but each with fun quirks we normally wouldn't see in the leads. And there are soo many laugh-out-loud, feel good moments. The resolution of it all is so satisfying and doesn't feel rushed, even with the high energy of the final scenes. This movie is one I will look forward to each year to lift my spirits. Whimsical, magical, romantic. What more can we ask of Hallmark and some great actors at the top of their games?

Olivia is a successful designer, and is about to host her first TV show for Style Network. Her producer hires Chris Davis, the producer of a TV show called Model Home, to oversee her project. Unhappy about this, she lashes out at her driver, only to find out this is Chris.

The idea for the show is to transform a home into a home Santa would like to live in. Chris chooses Olivia's childhood home, which has been abandoned for a while and was purchased by the studio. They have three weeks to turn this rundown home into a perfect holiday home. But boy, do these two get off on the wrong foot!

As a child, Olivia wrote a letter to Santa, and now she finds a letter - from Santa - telling her that she will find her soulmate by Christmas, and that his name is Nick. Only, she meets three guys named Nick: Nick A, Nick B, and Nick C.

Trying to figure out who her soulmate is, she goes on dates with all three of them. Yeah, this is Hallmark, so it is predictable from the beginning. But this is a really sweet movie, and it put a smile on my face! With likeable characters, a good script, and even a bit of fantasy, I was thoroughly entertained. This was fabulous, actually!

This movie promises romance and Christmas magic, and let me tell you it DELIVERS. So nice to see Hallmark make a genuinely funny comedy that still has all the heart and feels a Christmas movie should! I love Erin Krakow from When Calls the Heart and have REALLY been missing Daniel Lissing from the show, and it's SO AMAZING to see them on screen together again. And Erin's other leading men? Oh. My. Goodness. I couldn't believe some of the surprise cameos who showed up to try and win her over. Watched it twice already, truly everything I was hoping for and more. All I want for Christmas is a sequel!

I enjoyed watching this movie very much! Seeing Jack and Elizabeth from 'When Calls The Heart' aka Chris and Olivia, together again was heartwarming. This couple has amazing on-screen chemistry and I hope Hallmark goes on to put them together in future movies.

This movie has a unique storyline, which I really liked. It shows the magic of Christmas seen from the eyes of a child and rings it back again 25 years later, when she's grown up. Olivia has a choice to make in order to find her soulmate, her true love.

The only part that was unrealistic was giving Olivia's childhood home a makeover in 3 weeks. In real life it would take much longer than that. However, I really could care less because the rest of the movie made up for that.

Olivia (Erin Krakow) is an interior designer who is forced to work with a new producer and director for the Christmas special, enter Chris (Daniel lissing). They inmediately start bickering about the project, and he suggest working on her childhood house. There, she finds a magical letter that warns her she will meet the love of her life called Nick. She then has 3 meet cutes with three different Nicks.

I love Erin, she always shines as the leading lady, she is amazing. And i'm gonna be honest, I was a bit bitter about Daniel coming back to Hallmark after going to the other channel and leaving WCTH, but the truth is that his chemistry with Erin is off the charts.

Unfortunately, that did not translate into this movie. They have few scenes together, not enough to appreciate it. You can only truly appreciate it in the final scene. Erin's character has way too much scenes with the dates, (featuring Hallmark's Benjamin Ayres and Christopher Rusell) few with Chris and almost none in the project they are working.

I think that this script was not ideal for this reunion and it sucked. I would have liked to watch them in a movie in which they spend all of it chasing something and forcing them into funny moments together.

And while it's a enjoyable and magical Christmas movie, I was disappointed by it.
