This series should be much better; it contains 2 amazing actresses and big stars in their own country, with an on-paper interesting story.
Hype meant I was so looking forward to this series, and at first I thought it was going to be good, but by episode 3, I totally lost faith. It just ended up so bland, so nothing, there is not a lot to write about
For me, I blame the script, because there is no tension, no edge of your seat, no real romance, no pulling heartstrings, what's going to happen in the next episode, well, mostly it turns out nothing much, some lift music, a bit of story revelation, a bit of bedroom healing
The 2 main actresses do thier best, the 3 sidekick bodyguards are likeable, the misguided or bad parents/siblings are regulars in this sort of series, the only difference is thier are 4 of them, 2 dads, a stepmum and stepbrother
Outside the main cast, some of the 1 liner 1 scene acting is actually dire, and they really needed to do some more research into the bodyguards' choreography, fights, and costumes
The last 4 and first 2 episodes are the best ones
I'm giving the series an extra half a star for being one story, no side couple love stories and extra half a star for the media love confession in ep 9, which is the only scene that moved me emotionally
Overall lightweight, nothing bad, but so many better series being released, watch them and come back here when you have run out of GL's to watch or watch the Secret of Us again
Give the 2 actresses some better material to work with and they shine.

The acting, the characters, the storyline. Ugh everything is so good. Lingling did such a great job as Tawan. Orm also as expected did a great job even though she had to act as a teenager. Top notch acting from the both of them. Cant wait to see adult Tawan and adult Ayla on the remaining episodes. Can really feel the butterfly feeling when falling in love at the first time, also the heartbreak feeling. Excited to see how the storyline will be, especially with the bodyguard x artist storyline. Will be very thrilling for sure. Very happy and excited for LingOrm! As well as the other artists in the series.
Emotions are raw, the chemistry undeniable, and every scene they share feels incredibly natural. It's as if you're not watching actors perform, but rather two real people slowly discovering love in each other. Whether they're exchanging playful banter or sharing a moment of quiet vulnerability, the authenticity in their interactions is something rarely captured on screen with such depth and sincerity.
Ling portrays her character with a calm, grounded presence. She's reserved, deeply reflective, and carries a quiet strength. Off-screen, Ling seems equally graceful and grateful for every opportunity, every fan, and every step in her journey. In contrast, Orm is the perfect balance to Ling's stillness. She radiates joy, energy, and warmth, a true ball of sunshine. Orm's personality brings a brightness to every scene, and her real-life charm only makes fans love her more.
Together, they make magic. Their on-screen dynamic is both intense and tender, painting a story that feels authentic and relatable. The love they portray isn't rushed or forced it grows naturally, allowing the audience to feel every step of their journey. You'll laugh with them, cry for them, and root for them with all your heart.

LingOrm, dubbed the Premium Visual GL Couple, delivers a captivating start in Only You. Episode 1 is filled with soft glances, authentic chemistry, and effortless acting that doesn't feel scripted. Orm brings a fresh sincerity to her role like shes not really acting but its like her in a normal day, while Lingling's calm, grounded energy balances her perfectly just like her in normal setting as well. Their emotional pacing feels real - not rushed, not forced. It's a promising beginning that hints at a deeper love story beneath the surface. A strong, graceful entry into the GL space. I love you LingOrm forever!
A sweet and emotional start. The chemistry between the Tawan and Ayla is subtle but strong, and the atmosphere feels warm yet refreshing giggling. The pace a bit too fast for past life but I'm not complaining at all my God! They are Great!! I want to have slow burn but let's see how it goes. Just watching them really bring it warmth in my heart!
Visually stunning, with a soft, melancholic tone throughout. Definitely a promising start for fans of heartfelt romantic dramas(who am I kidding? It's LINGORM). Ep1 end, already make me in tears :( But on top of that superbbbb curious to see how their story unfolds! Can't waitttt! Bring it On!
