Mr and Mrs Bachelor

Apart from Anaswara's brief flashes of charishma and Indrajith's charm (at certain moments) - the movie is pretty flat through out !

I have lot of issues - right from the lack of chemistry between the leads - they were giving sibling vibes throughout, without any romantic shades throughout (though the director tries to induce it and so does loud BGMs - but the spart simply is not there)

The sequels are pretty illogical and the drive through becoming boring fast and those that know Thiruvananthapuram or those that have some form of attention, will realize they are going in circles through main city landmarks over and over - just like the story and directors - just roaming aimlessly

Verdict - Not worth a watch!

I've seen almost all the viewers saying that this wasn't good enough or that it's a bad movie, but... For me, I could connect; I was able to relate. The hardships of finding true love in these days, the hope of finding that right person - the one, the soulmate. Maybe it's because I'm still in search of that one person; this movie gave me hope, which I was losing day by day. So, for me, this is a good movie.

Coming deeper into the movie, we can say it's a small film with a small cast, and the story unfolds within hours. The plot was great, but on the way, I also felt something off. Even with a good cast, many things felt off, especially in the portions shot at the Ooty location. The cinematography and visuals didn't quite capture the essence of the place, and it felt like something was missing. However, as the story progressed and the setting shifted from the hill station, the pacing and tone became better.

The music in the film was not bad, and some of the songs and background scores were even impressive. The soundtrack complemented the mood and atmosphere of the scenes, adding to the emotional impact. Coming back to the storyline, it was somewhat predictable, but that was also its beauty. The film doesn't try to be overly complex or convoluted; instead, it focuses on delivering a simple yet valuable message.

The predictability of the plot didn't bother me; instead, it added to the charm of the movie. It's not a twist-and-turn-filled film that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Rather, it's a gentle, heartfelt story that explores the complexities of relationships and the importance of finding that special someone. The film's strength lies in its ability to convey a universal message in a relatable way.

One of the most striking aspects of the movie is its hopeful ending. Without giving away too many spoilers, the conclusion leaves you with a sense of optimism and positivity. If you're expecting a dramatic or action-packed film, you might be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a movie that will touch your heart and make you reflect on your own relationships, then this might be the film for you.

I know that this movie may not be everyone's cup of tea. The pacing, tone, and storyline might not appeal to everyone, and that's perfectly fine. But for me, the movie's simplicity, relatability, and hopeful message made it a worthwhile watch. If you're in the right mindset and open to a gentle, romantic story, you might find yourself enjoying this film just as much as I did.

From start to finish, Mr & Mrs Bachelor is a tedious, soul-sapping experience. The film fails to deliver on almost every front-be it storytelling, performances, music, or technical execution.

Indrajith does what he usually does-he's just okay. Nothing special, but not the worst part either. That unfortunate title goes to Anaswara Rajan, whose overacting becomes hard to watch after a point. There's a fine line between expressive and exaggerated, and she completely misses the mark here.

The movie lacks any semblance of a storyline. Scenes feel stitched together without purpose, and there's no emotional or comedic engagement. Does music exists ?, and the editing? Sloppy, rushed, and inconsistent.

To put it bluntly: this film is an absolute disaster. Save your time-and your sanity... Indrajith and anaswara need to choose better scripts !! That's what we expects from both of you !!

Despite its promising premise-a runaway bride teaming up with a carefree bachelor-the film Mr & Mrs Bachelor struggles to find its footing. Directed by Deepu Karunakaran and starring Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan, the movie attempts to blend romance, comedy, and drama but ends up delivering a lukewarm experience.

* Chemistry Lacking: The lead pair never quite clicks, and their emotional arc feels underdeveloped.

* Production Drama Overshadows: The pre-release controversy between the director and lead actress Anaswara Rajan may have affected the film's promotional energy-and possibly its final polish.

While one may find P. S. Jayahari's music pleasant, it doesn't elevate the film. In fact, I found it to be grating at times, and painful to my ears. The cinematography by Pradeep Nair is competent but uninspired, failing to make the road-trip setting visually memorable.

Arjun has tried to emulate the vibes, themes, jokes and ideas from some of his dad's movies but failed miserably.

Overall, "Mr & Mrs Bachelor" feels like a missed opportunity. It's not terrible, but it's not memorable either. If you're looking for a breezy rom-com, this one might leave you wanting more.
