Excellent adventure

A rare occurence is to watch a mystical adventure movie in Bulgaria. A fresh experience for bulgarian film goers and especially for children aged 10 to 16, who will love the colorful characters of the younger cast, while being thrilled by the stellar performance of the more experienced adult cast. The story is engaging and unpredictable, the cinematography is great and the mystical island location is presented quite well.

We have watched many movies about pirates and magical powers and in that regard, there is nothing new or surprising. Not much for action here. A slow paced adventure, that aims to re-imagine a legend of the thracian Goddess called Bendida.
