The show is okay, but it was much less then what I was wanting to see, the animations in the trailers are way better then Immortalis, a lot of the humor is not funny, the animation is bad, I love the game, and when I heard there was gonna be a show for it I was very excited, watching the trailers of the DLC's for the game made me think they would go the same route, its really not worth, the story is more focused on humor and not action, and dead cells is a action rouge-like, I wish they went a different direction with this show, there are only 8 episodes, most around 8 minutes long, and most aren't even that good, watch it if you want, at best its 3 down from decent, also the ending sucked ass.
I'm probably a bit bias with the review since I'm a big fan of the original game the show has been based off, but I genuinely liked it. It has really good voice acting, both english and french. The animation is, to say the least, not amazing. It's not bad, but if you think you're going to watch this for the action the game had, prepare to be disappointed. It's just a short comedy series (the jokes are average, most of the time just getting a chuckle out of me, but there's at least one per video that actually made me laugh) with some serious moments in it and tiny bits of lore sprinkled trough, but nothing to important to miss if you don't wanna waste your time. If you do have an hour or so to spare, give it a try. It's free to watch on YouTube and I don't think you'll regret it.
Oh yea, it's also not very family friendly. There's ALOT of swearing and gore, even tho it's done cartoonishly, I still wouldn't recommend it to children of 12, maybe 10 years lowest. But hey, I ain't the one responsible for what your children are watching, YOU are. :)

Well, it's not bad, but it's far from being good, it's average, first of all, this series is NOT adapting the game, but rather creating a new one with new characters and with another tone of story,so much so that the beheaded is not the protagonist but the girl who was created for this story, so if you're going to watch it, don't expect many things related to the game, because the game only has the beheaded, the prison, the cells, the disease, the clock tower and the "KING", the rest is all invented for the series, it's fun and kind of boring at the same time, the animation is competent, the action is average,to tell the truth there isn't even that much of a fight,Jokes aren't the kind that make you laugh, some just make you smile, the plot twist is minimaly good, the rhythm is a little rushed and the ending is not bad but it's also far from being good.
