Kitchen Nightmares

Gordon is back in way way. He is merely a figurehead for the show. The first day comes in says the food is terrible leaves, comes back at night to tell the chef he/she doesn't know how to run a kitchen. Then his "team" renovates the restaurant and kitchen and comes up with a new menu and teaches it to the kitchen. Gordon then will come in smiling and excited like he did something. To add some drama the "team" renumbers the tables to confuse the waiters. If there is a sob story that's a plus repeated endlessly.

Then Gordon leaves, I would estimate he spends 5 hours at most in the restaurant. Its almost like he is on vacation and just doing the show on the side.
