Masked kidnappers hold Surgeon Yael, husband, young son and daughter hostage to compel Dr. Yael that President Netzer should not survive his scheduled surgery next day at her hands. Their identities and a pregnancy test add to the drama.

Yael tries to change the horrible situation and injects the Prime Minister with medication that disrupts the system and delays the surgery for an unlimited time.

Yair threatens Yael that if the surgery doesn't take place soon, something bad will happen to her family. She succeeds in setting the surgery to take place in four days time. Noa suffers from morning sickness but doesn't reveal why. The kidnappers discover that Eyal, the father of the family, is being threatened by mafia people to whom he owes money. They give him money to cover the debt and he steals a gun from the mobsters. Yael threatens her boss that she will reveal his infidelities when he discovers that she disrupted the surgery. disagreements begin between the kidnappers due to the delay.

Yair gets a phone call from someone warning him that their plan has been found out, and he sets off to clean up anything outside that might tie them up to the plot. Kidnappers Ella and Alex begin to suspect that Yair is hiding information from them. The family fails in an attempt to escape under cover of darkness. Nadav, Noa's boyfriend, a combat officer, manages to infiltrate the house, but the kidnappers overpower him. A stray bullet hits Eyal.

Yael takes care of the wounded Eyal whose condition quickly deteriorates, and saves his life after Yair refuses to take him to the hospital. She manages to gather information about Yair through a cell phone she secretly acquires. Yair succeeds in getting rid of the policemen who come to the house and beats Alex for abusing Nadav. The tensions between the family members grow. Ella goes out to buy medical supplies and makes contact with her mysterious operator who demands the Prime Minister be killed. During Eyal's treatment, there is a moment of intimacy between Yael and Yair.

Eyal develops an infection and Yael leaves the house to go to the hospital and get the medication to save him. She takes advantage of the trip to locate the address of Yair Rubin. She manages to slip in to his home and discovers medical documents in the name of Neta Rubin. Guy, the fourth kidnapper tells the shocked Nadav that Noa is pregnant. Ella and Assaf develop an understanding between them, and he cracks a computer file for her, in which is an old security camera video documenting a rape.

In the hospital, Yael discovers that Neta Rubin's medical file had recently been deleted from the hospital computer. Yael returns home and refuses Nadav's proposal to get them out of the house that night. When she finds out that Eyal lost their home due to his debts and made it possible for the kidnappers to enter the house for money, she changes her mind and lets Nadav run away with the children. She asks Noa to get in touch with the Prime Minister's head of security. Alex and Guy set out to try and find the escapees.

Alex and Guy chase Noa, Assaf and Nadav in the woods near the house. Assaf falters and is caught. Nadav is hit by a passing car trying to cross the road. Noa manages to contact Giora, the Prime Minister's head of security and he picks her up in his car. Yair and Yael go to the hospital where the wounded Nadav was taken. Giora drugs Noa when she discovers he is connected to the kidnappers.

Yair arrives at the meeting point with Giora, and Noa tries to run away. Yair prevents Giora from hurting her and takes her home. Alex takes control of the house, shoots Guy and manages to overpower Yair too. At the hospital, Yael sneaks out of Nadav's surgery and finds the security camera tapes of a young orthodox guy who was the one to delete Neta Rubin's file, she follows him to a small apartment where she finds Neta Rubin, Yair's wife, on her death bed.

Yair, Guy, Assaf, Noa, and Eyal are tied up. Alex controls the house. But Ella shoots him and releases Yair's bonds. Yael informs Yair that she is at his wife's bedside and demands that he leave her house. Yair breaks down and releases the family. Their operator demands that Giora complete the assassination mission. Yael watches the rape tape that Ella left on Assaf's computer and discovers that the rapist is the Prime Minister, and that he is Neta's biological father. She understands that Yair needs the Prime Minister for his bone marrow, to save his wife. She decides to save Neta.
