A Breed Apart

The visual fx studio on this one should be embarassed. Sure the writing was terrible, and the acting was bad, but it wasn't until i saw the digital fx, that truly hated this movie.

Couldn't finish it. Gt 20 minutes in, and there was just something about the fake dogs. Sure they were composited terribly, but there was this weird feel to them, and all the fx that i couldn't put my finger on. Then it hit me. Why everything was so swimmy, and visual inconsistent. It's all just AI 'art'. Lazy garbage.

Anyone involved in the production of this giant turd should leave film production, and never look back.

It's obviously down to the individual but this _could_ fall into that camp for you. The part on the cell tower made me laugh for instance, it's _so_ terrible in both conception and implementation that I just can't believe the film makers didn't know what they were making. It _must_ be deliberate, surely ? Maybe even a satire on AI slop ?

Don't get me wrong, no one should waste their time watching this in my view but _in case_ there's more intent behind its across the board stupidity and terrible craftsmanship than may appear and because IF you watch it with friends in the altered mental state of your choice it almost certainly _will_ provide some amusement, albeit entirely _at_ rather than _with_ the movie, I give it 3 stars.

This is so painfully bad in every way imaginable. The use of horrendous quality CGI in some scenes and AI generated images in others really makes everything feel super disjointed snd sloppy.

The acting is awful, and if I hadn't read the movie description, I would never know it was supposed to be a horror comedy. There are nearly zero funny moments. Other than the ones are just funny because of how bad and cheesy the acting is. The character Collins is especially unlikable and has mostly only cringey interactions throughout.

Very upset and saddened I wasted time and money of this piece of trash. I'm disappointed in every one involved with making this, but more than anything I'm disappointed in me. For paying actually money for one of thr worst movies I have ever seen.

I think three stars is a little to much for this movie.. Oh my God, the acting is so dull, the CGI.. wow, I have no words to describe how bad is it.. like in a tv series with very low budget form the '90's... We're evolving, but backwards... I don't like to give bad reviews, but I can say something good about this movie... just maybe the idea is ok, but the way it show on the screen is so bad.. I don't know what I can say more, just don't waste your time on this... I'm the first one who give a rating and a review, I will come back after a while, i'm curious what rating this movie will get after a few weeks.

After getting us bored with the cheesy n cheap movies like sharknados, 2 n 3 headed sharks, mega sharks, mega python, giant octopus, bermuda tentacles, mega piranhas, crocosaurus, meth gator, etc we r treated with a much worse movie.

This movie is worse than Syfy original films n Asylum films.

It tries hard but it is clearly made on a B-budget.

The animatronics and CGI dogs r lol.

The movie has too many issues, most notably with the budget and the effects. The CGI is extremely 90s video games quality.

The Pack 1977 did it much better decades ago.

Hayden Panettiere has about a two-minute cameo in the opening, and then we don't see her again until much later and that end scene of her arriving to save the day was so much predictable.

She has gained so much weight that she is wearing loose cargo pants n shirts.

She was much slimmer n hot in Scream 4.
