Reality!!!

I really understand this movie!!! I went to school in the eighties !!!!And I loved the setting !! Props were outstanding!! I wanted the table !! And milkshake were realistic!!! It brought back memories!!! Just a nice teachable and wholesome movie!!!! Everyone should watch this movie and maybe learn a lesson from it!!! And it teaches to live in the present and keep an open mind!! It's also teaches the good and the bad , no matter what generation!!! I am sure everyone who watches it will learn a good lesson out of it!!!! And I wish we could go back into time with a television remote!!! Ohh the possibilities!!! There should be more movies like this !!! It intrigued me right from the beginning!!! And was good to the end!!!!

Curiosità sui crediti
The director, Alessandra Staffetti, has an obscure Easter egg cameo in this film. In the diner scene, when Ashlyn first meet the three girls, there is a small picture frame hanging on the wall above the napkin dispenser. The photograph in the frame depicts a black and white image of Staffetti in a retro dress posing in the diner next to the cardboard jukebox cutout.

Versioni alternative
In the script, the original ending was going to depict Ashlyn and Frances sitting on the couch and watching the 7:00 evening news together. This was going to be Ashlyn's way of living more in the present day with her family instead of dwelling on the past. However, this ending was fixed, because the introverted Ashlyn needed to learn something after her bizarre experiences and change her views. The current ending shows how Ashlyn becomes more open-minded, positive and willing to make new friends within her contemporary age group, starting with Tommy, her study buddy.
