Alright, I'll admit. I actually do enjoy tuning into a Lifetime thriller, because quite frankly some of my favorite actors do them. This film was no different- the draw? The lead cast.

This movie was good hands. Definitely not an easy story to tell. No doubt a tricky subject, with layers of subplot, but it was grounded with a full range performance and sincere moments.

Editing. Heavy on the noir and paced slower, but the lingering felt intentional most of the time.

(Note, whomever did the post color work should definitely find another gig)

All that being said, I was actually really moved emotionally and it had a surprising ending.
