Bitchy Resting Face is a PSA style film which seeks to educate the public to the fact that, while some people may have a bitchy look on their face, it is not necessarily because they are a bitch but just because that is how their face looks. Although of course some of them may actually just be bitches.
Presented by several woman against a white background in a 'walk and talk to camera' style, this short film captures the feeling of an actual PSA really well. The concept of a bitchy resting face is funny and well presented (and true) so this carries it as we see various examples. The joke is added to by resting asshole face and before it outstays its welcome it ends on a couple of good punch lines courtesy of writer Taylor Orci. It is not hilarious but it is consistently funny and for a few minutes short film that is all I could ask. The cast deliver well, with a concerned presentation within the PSA but also convincing BRF's of their own in the other sections.
Nicely observed idea which is structured and delivered well in a funny little short film.
