Olan, TX is a beautiful short film with strong performances, especially the final scene. From start to finish, each second is both nuanced and emotional. This short film that doesn't waste a second to deliver engaging storytelling. The background of west Texas wonderfully captures the loneliness of the main character. I appreciate how the director let the landscape and actors shine equally. My favorite scene is the final scene where the main character is digging (don't want to give a spoiler). It felt so real, both in the effort emotionally and physically. Really great scene. There's also a cute dog.
