Story of Eva

Please don't waste your time : acting is terrible; the plot is hazardous; there is no rhythm and the scenes are kinda disconnected. Reading " thriller" as category makes me laugh: I was leaving the movie after 30 minutes, and I made the big mistake to watch it all , lol.

Me and hubby started watching it and within minutes we burst out laughing 😂 the acting is abysmal and the storyline a joke. I think the director should of kept this particular dream to himself. Nightmare for viewers and not in a good way. Why is Eric Roberts in it. I used to like his films. This was a farcical.

I settled down to watch this film with my wife, three nights ago as we both like films of this genre (Death Wish, Double Jeopardy, Sleeping With The Enemy and so on).

After fifteen minutes, we both looked at each other and she had a look of bafflement, as, I suppose, did I. It was DIRE! I've very rarely seen a film of such abysmal quality such as this and I very rarely review films on here. The abduction sequence near the beginning was unbelievably bad in its execution and the continuity was the worst that I've ever seen. The film progressed from one scene to another and left us thinking "What was that all about?" the lead actress, Nicole Rio, was wearing one outfit on one scene and she had another on when the camera moved back to her in the same scene!

On this web page's entry under "Trivia" it says of this film's writer, Tom Woodbeck, "The film originates from a dream the writer had for over 15 years." I think he never should have woken up!

So please, folks, do yourselves a favour and give this stinker a wide berth!

I like revenge films. Kill Bill and the first four Death Wish films I love. This is a revenge film I did not like much at all.

It has a mother (Eva) whos daughter gets murdered and she goes after the guy who did it and his associates. But it gets really nuts. Eva gets dressed up and goes on weird rants. Then she brings her victims to her basement and tortures them. Its a bizarre mess. Unless you like tasteless S&M gear there is not much to see in this lame revenge flick. Plus its rather poorly directed as well.

Eric Roberts co stars as a cop but sadly he could not save this film from being really dumb.
