Lev lives in a house on the edge of the forest with his eldest daughter Nadya and son Lyosha. Not long ago, a man's wife died, so the father is forced to take care of the children alone, but it is a sin for him to complain about them: the daughter runs the household, and the son already goes hunting with his father. They live together. Until one day, not the kindest neighbors decide that Lev and his son and daughter have too good a house. The family will have to defend their possessions in a tough battle.
