Talk about an onion of a show!!! The layers that are revealed each episode are what makes this show great. You are not gonna cry at all from this onion. You are just going to want to keep peeling and unraveling the mysteries. Just when you think you have the story figured out, there's more to know. Every episode, all the way to the final episode.

And while yes, there are one or two parts that will be seen as too unrealistic to some. However, if you allow yourself to just roll with it, you're gonna have a good time.

It was fun to uncover a new direction every episode. I did not see the ending coming on this one.

The whole premiss of this series was awry. Impossible things happened. Someone stabbed in the stomach twice somehow got away from a house deep in the countryside. Arrested by the cops "the next day" for something else, the gendarmes didn't apparently ask who'd stabbed him.

The siblings, become ace detectives and burglars, are a comic book pastiche of every cliché the writers must have thought of, feisty Maghrebi sister and dopey Moroccan brother.

The denouement, reminiscent of the plot of "Stolen Face" is just so absurd that I laughed out loud.

We are left to contemplate if it all unravels with the arrival of the neophyte gendarme. For some reason, I hope so and that the four main characters go to gaol for a very long time.
