Noted actor Ron Becks is the writer-producer and star of Hunter where he plays the title role of Lt. Ramsey Hunter. Hunter's life changes drastically when several cases hit him simultaneously.

In no time, our hero has to contend with a rogue cop killer, a beautiful Southern runaway serial killer and his corrupt police captain boss blackmailing him. Amir Shervan’s 1991 goofy cop thriller Samurai Cop has developed a cult following and has been playing to sell-out crowds all across the country. On Thursday, August 28, 2014, the film will be shown at the Cinefamily Theater in Los Angeles at 10:30 pm. The event will be hosted by actor Douglas Dunning and scheduled to appear in person following the screening are actors Matt Hannon and Jimmy Williams, as well as director of photography Peter Palian.

Douglas Dunning, Cinema Epoch’s Director of Acquisitions, has just announced that the company has obtained the rights to release four films from XPosse Productions for worldwide distribution on DVD and on all digital platforms. Scary Tales is among the titles scheduled for release. Here is a brief trailer for the film.

Mr. Dunning is currently also appearing opposite actor George Lazenby, who is best known for playing James Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), in the recently completed film Hunter, which was directed by Gregory Hatanaka, who is also the president of Cinema Epoch. Mr. Lazenby plays General Bullmont in the film. Also starring is actress Laurene Landon who has starred in the Peter Falk film All the Marbles (1981), I, the Jury (1982), Hundra (1983) and Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold (1984).
