I found this movie of sorts on YouTube and loved it. It was free and really well done and no expense was spared to make it (apart from one that could not be done to scale).

Granted, I am a big fan of the "Fallout" franchise, and of course I do enjoy watching the scarce fan-made videos that are circulating on YouTube. But with the upcoming series and movies, then there is something to look forward to.

I sat down to watch the 2013 "Fallout: Red Star" for the second time here in 2022. I do believe that the first time I watched it was when it was initially uploaded and made public.

This fan-made project is good entertainment and definitely has a lot of potential to it. The creators paid a lot of attention to the details in the video and made it feel and look like something you'd get from playing the games. So that was a good accomplishment, and it definitely helped to set and build the atmosphere quite nicely.

The acting performances in "Fallout: Red Star" were good. It was a rather limited cast ensemble that participated here, but they did do good jobs and helped bring the storyline to life on the screen rather well.

Visually then "Fallout: Red Star" is good. Sure, this is a fan-made project, but it has the spirit and atmosphere as seen and loved in the "Fallout" games.

"Fallout: Red Star" is well worth checking out, especially if you enjoyed the games.

My rating of "Fallout: Red Star" lands on a six out of ten stars.
