Prema Katha Chitram

"Prema Katha Chitram" is a 'run-of-the-mill' horror film where the script is as similar as every horror film subjects. But the director had tried to show some difference in the film by mixing comedy elements in the film. Unfortunately, the comedy mix as well as horror part does not really work out.

The screenplay looked so childish and artificial that no where the film showed realism. Thereby, the film failed to scare the audience.

The whole cast really have doomed the film by their overacting, while the female lead Nandita Raj is the only saving grace (performance wise). Overall this is a film that you have to make it a miss !

This is definitely one of the most entertaining movies that I have seen in recent times. The story is fresh and amusing. The dialogs get one BIG thumbs up from my side. The acting by Praveen and Saptagiri get two BIG thumbs up from my side. The choice of the girl(Nandita) was good with her beautiful eyes that did most of the job for her. Sudheer could have done a better job is what I felt. I started watching the movie expecting something but it turned out to be completely different, not that I am complaining. It was fully satisfying, thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The best part is my 3-year old son also enjoyed watching the movie. Watch this movie...and have fun!!!

This film is low on budget but high on entertainment in nice setup which is new to Telugu cinema . Main lead sudheer Babu done good job and As a debutant heroine nandhitha is plus to the film , she has good screen presence . Hero of the movie in entertainment is sapthagiri , his comedy timing , the way emotes everything makes you laugh he is the reason you should watch the film and another comedy Praveen also made few laughs with him Director maruthi done good job in concept and okayish in direction but in budget he made best outcome you could this film is path breaking in this horror comedy genre.

I loved this movie so much that I watched it again immediately the next day. My 8 year old daughter also loves it. It was so so funny and romance was really neat. The songs I am still crazy and the best songs of the year. Heroines action is too good for a second movie. The comedians were very very good too. Lot of relief not to see Brahmi. The story line is very fresh and innovative. Definitely deserves to be a block buster. Great relief from the formula movies with nasty fights. The screenplay and back ground music and photography are all good. I wish people recognized the director as Prabhakar Reddy rather than Maruthi.
