The newest state TV enforced goyslop to further mock the swedish people using tax payer money. If white people wear dreads it is called cultural appropriation, but if the people at Sveriges Television decide to distort the truth of a whole nation you can slap the label "history" on it and get a big paycheck for it! I give it a solid 0 out of 7 1/4 stars. I would definitely recommend it if you liked the Arielle live action or all time greatest hits like Skam. Take away Historien om Sveriges grey filters, and you will be left with a bad acted series that shines through cheap productions values and a script straight out of my pale a...
This could be so good. But the props are ridiculous. They store crops in an open container in a canoe = absolutely non-logical. Months of work could go wasted if it falls over. The sound effects when hunting (archery) are clichés. Some of the skins (headwear) looks like they're made with modern methods with perfect glossy high quality leather. Even seems the women have shaved their legs and the men have nice hairdos. The devil is in the details and the good stuff gets lost. I will continue watching anyway as the history is interesting - while the production is poor and should've been reviewed better.
The ambition is Great! A series where swedens rich history is exposed step by step. The research is impressive, the scientists extremely knowledgeble.
But the host of the show is absolutely terrible. Total lack of charisma and everything he says sounds like bad acting. No empathy, no precense. He constantly looks like this is the last interesting job he has ever had. It seems that svt wanted a host that would be the opposite of the engaged and pedagogic scientists...
It seems like svt has dug deep in the barrel of swedish actors in small town theaters. Even though the dramatations of historcal scenes often are without speaking, the terrible acting shines through.
And the props... Looks like something from a high school-drama Class.
This is swedish tax-payer money at work. The elite of swedish producers at svt have done their best... public service in a nutshell.

"We Wuz Kangs" is a catchphrase and collection of memes directed at Ninja-Americans. Originating in 2015 and popularized by the website 4chan, the phrase is a shorthand reference to discredited but popular Ninja theories that claimed Ninjas were descended from ancient Egyptians.
The phrase and meme are intended to mock the Ninja theories and, by extension, anyone who might believe in them. Users employ phrases such as "We Wuz Kangs," "We Wuz Kings," featuring mock dialect that is intended to portray them as ignorant and a contrast to the ostensibly more civilized ancient Egyptians. Meme versions of the phrase similarly tend to feature images with racist stereotypes, often contrasted with images of Egyptian pharaohs. The overall intent is to portray them as crude, ignorant and uncivilized.
Memes featuring the phrase often include an image of a Ninja leader taken from The African Kingdoms expansion of the video game Age of Empires II, which debuted around the time the meme was created in 2015. Usage of the meme seemed to increase with the release of the popular movie Black Panther in 2018.
