Not a very original story
a little childish at first
I am really tired of those childish and boring kdrama argues that all the first leads have before falling in love specially those who behave like a 15 years boy or girl specially by changing their voices to pretend they are so cute
First 6 episodes were so boring and a headache but the last episodes were more interesting 7 / 10
its a 10 episodes drama so thanks lord it finished fast ;)
actings were not that perfect and good but acceptable
This was the first time watching a drama in which Pyp ye jin acting the first role and its better than she wont do it again ;)
It was a very sweet romantic show it gave a very light hearted feel, and intertwined cute moments, funny mis understandings, and joyful banter to make a very good Korean romance. The story was a little typical but you could see it was made with love and enjoyed every scene and part of the show, I would recommend, there only weak point beings that it felt very very rushed making it seem like it lacked substance, it could of have 12 or 16 episodes, at best for a more organic natural build up of the two leads, but it felt like it all exploded in the last 2 episodes, not giving room for a more natural connection with the two main leads. However this felt like a cute, joyful, heartwarming show, and would recommend.
The opening of the story plays an important role in laying the ground for the audience. And having a good romantic comedy in the current time is quite difficult.
First I would like to say about the uncanny similarity it holds with Cinderella and 4 Knights. Our Cinderella has been living with his father who met his stepmother in the park and the ill-fated journey started. The director paid careful attention to the tiniest details. The dining table scene at the beginning is an opening to the cold relationship the five people share. Cinderella's father gifted her a job to score a rich husband on her win. And the premise of the story begins.
Angel messengers are recruited in Cheongdam-dong where Prince Charming lives.
A frustrated Cinderella and a lazy prince charming...
Follow Your Joy is a hub run by an eighth-generation chaebol that gives a chance for young ladies to get married into rich families. And here our Freaking Cinderella decides to take a change in her luck.
The base of the plot is sentimental, culturing to the biggest dream of a woman- walking through the aisle with arms laced in her father's and meeting Prince Charming at the opposite end. But in the modern scenario, does love prevail at odd hours? This beautiful scenery is more now a bumpy ride and people are mostly doubting their feelings over necessities and requirements.
Moom Cha Min considers women as stones and Jae Rim wants to become rich.
The narrative is going in a ridiculous way as forceful after the encounter planted after twenty minutes of the beginning. Lee Jun Young as Cha Min is reacting and Pyo Ye Jin as Jae Rim lacks much-needed naiveness in her character. Characters failed to exhibit the viciousness that we witnessed in the mother and step-sister of Cinderella and Four Knights. They lack cruelty and tenacity and are more casual and timid in throwing tantrums. Ye Jin is not empathetic enough to be strong on her own feet. She is more delusional and is looking for shortcuts now and then. Cha Min is way casual in the skin of the chaebol. With along strong predecessors before him, he shows no strength and no base.
In order to survive, the story needs an unprecedented twist in its upcoming episode.

This series is very enjoyable in a very simple, cute non-threatening way. This could have been disastrous had it been poorly executed, But kudos to its team of writers, director, special effects and who soever made sure that it has a 'theme design' and remained consistently loyal to it.
The story is simple and straightforward however the execution is BRILLIANT. No one is trying to be a fool, dialogues are refreshingly honest and spades are spelt as spades. Still the chemistry between leads and progress of story is compelling. The male lead was totally wasted in big production of 'the impossible heir', here in this small budget venture thanks to the story and direction, he is shining like a diamond. Must give a try, two thumbs up.

What I am liking about this series is that it is using cliche topic in a new , honest and fresh manner. I am just loving this concept.
Plot is nice. Both leads are good.
And what I like about the ML's character is that is has showcased in new light. For example typical South Korean series has a rich and cold male lead but he is different he is not that cold. He feels relatable.
About FL's character - I love that she is honest, she is completely aware of what she wants and doesn't feel guilt about her goal. Whatever the goal is.
Yeah, these are all the reasons why I am loving this Rom com.
Just go for it already.
