This work is a masterpiece. One of the best Russian TV series in the recent years.
Made very accurate to Dostoyevsky story, the heroes are put in modern times, which makes it even better in this case. Makes it understandable and heroes recognisable in our life. It is very well put together. The dialogues are from Dostoyevsky with very few changes, all made in a very clever way. The set in present times makes heroes even more recognisable and redeemable.
Never on earth I will believe such a low rating is not biased somehow. Something about it is deeply wrong. All the negative reviews seem to be written out of jealousy by people from the movie industry.
Just watch and make your own opinion. Worth it. If you like Dostoyevsky, you will like these tv series.
