I don't get so low ratings for this film -- probably comic book fans were expecting another 'Deadpool & Wolverine', which 'Supersisters', clearly aimed at a much younger audience, is obviously not.

Let's be clear -- we've seen such stories before, the nods to Stranger Things were unnecessary, but the visual effects and soundtrack are decent, the lead actress is likeable, and for a low-budget effort, it's done competently. It will seem redundant to the Marvel fans, but works for the kids.

If you can overlook the clichés inherent in a film for younger teenagers, this transposition of the superhero genre into the setting of 1990s Poland can be appealing.
