A municipal official refuses to allocate funds for the purchase of expensive medicine for a seriously ill teenager Anton. Then his older brother Mikha decides to get the money in another way - to rob a local Alpachino bandit.

The robbery is not going according to plan. Mikha is outpaced by rival bandits - Fedotov and his henchman Ruslan. Then Lera, the younger sister of Syoma, Mikha's best friend, finds instructions on cooking medicine for Anton on the darknet. Mikha decides to create an underground laboratory, but he does not let go of the idea of taking revenge on those who took Alpachino's money before him.

Alpachino bandits kill Fedotov, but do not find the money. Now their target is Mikha, who has decided to lay low and focus on the lab. But this also requires money, and Mikha returns to his usual methods of earning money - carjacking and theft.

The laboratory is assembled, there is one problem left - to successfully work with the recipe, a geneticist is needed, who still needs to be found. The police, Ruslan, who blames him for Fedotov's death, and Alpachino's bandits are getting closer to Mikha. The danger of exposure is growing.

Mikha miraculously manages to escape in a shootout with the police and Ruslan. The geneticist is found, but it turns out that Mikha assembled the wrong equipment, and to start production, Anton's blood is needed, which he refuses to give. Mikha is ready to solve this, but falls into the clutches of Alpachino.

Mikha manages to buy off Alpachino with one condition - now he works for him and must create a cure as soon as possible. Mikha is separated from the final result of the drug testing - one of his friends decides to test the drug on himself.

The tests are failing. Mikha's friend dies, but Lera doesn't let everyone just give up. This death should not be in vain. They have to try again. While Mikha is trying to create a cure anew, Anton is getting worse - death is getting closer to him.

The medicine works. Anton gets to his feet. And Mikha finds the lost Alpachino money. This allows him to withdraw from his obligations to the bandit and get out of the case. But Alpachino is not ready to just let Mikha go - now the lives of all his family and friends are at stake.
