7th Time Loop has a well executed balance of comedy, drama, and romance. The animation and sound editing are excellent. The voice acting is fine, unfortunately it is currently just English Subtitles. This charming story has similarities to "Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" and I expect people who like one will like the other. However, I enjoy "7th Time Loop" the most.

The main character is Rishe Weitzner, who was raised by her parents to marry the local prince. When the prince suddenly falls for another woman and cancels their engagement, he accuses Rishe of false crimes and her parents reject her. Abandoned and homeless, Rishe strikes out to start a new life of her own making.

The story only gives brief flashbacks, but we learn that Rishe has previously lived 6 times until the age of 20. She chose widely different lives, yet each one ended with premature death caused in some way by Arnold Hein, Crown Prince of the Hyne Kingdom.

Rishe is now in her 7th time loop, and this time (after being dumped again) she becomes engaged to her mortal enemy - Arnold Hein. As the story progresses, she tries to understand the causes behind Arnold's cold harsh personality and tries to change his circumstances so she won't die in the future. She is also determined to live a fulfilling life, regardless of when she might die.

Arnold Hein looks at Rishe as a self-determined free spirit and watches her living a happy life he wishes he could have. His real feelings for her grow, yet Rishe assumes they are just an act.

Careful writing creates a unique blend of comedy, romance, tension between future killer and victim, and mysterious psychological trauma in the royal family.

This is not fluff, but it is not so heavy-handed that you will find it depressing. I highly recommend it. If you want the full story in English, seek out the translated light novel series, or even the manga adaption.

The idea was nice but there isn't much of a story to hold on to. Not a lot of character development or relationships. It's very bland. The artwork is great though.

The main character is your typical head strong female lead but as the episodes continued, I was bored with her and wanted to focus more on the prince and his story or see more romance bloom between the two.

I don't know, it's just awkward to me. Could have been better. Most characters are depressing too. I think there just needs to be a better, more captivating story and things would be fine. The little action that did happen was a joke. If there is a second season, I hope they bring the action.

I believe I can speak for everyone who has watched this anime, that it definitely deserves a season 2 no matter the rating. This is an absolute anime that is need to be watched by everyone who is a big fan of romance anime. I absolutely love the cute romantic parts of this anime, definitely deserves more scenes with rishe and Arnold. The light novel is so good and I really think this anime will be unstoppable if it got a season 2 and the light novel is so impeccably good. In addition, we see more progression between the two, the slow burn is working very well. I also wish that Arnold could spend more time and have more romantic scenes with fish and that Arnold could tell rishe to stop addressing him so formally.

I found the Prince's initial flattery to be heartwarming, and it becomes even more touching as the plot unfolds. His love for her is genuine, demonstrated through his numerous acts of devotion. Their relationship evolves, deepening in complexity and sincerity, as they navigate the challenges set before them. The anime does a remarkable job of exploring themes of redemption and second chances, allowing the characters to grow and learn from their past mistakes. Rishe's determination is inspiring as she uses her knowledge from past lives to outwit her enemies and forge a new path.

The animation is visually stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed backgrounds that bring the fantasy world to life. The soundtrack complements the emotional beats of the story, enhancing the viewer's connection to the characters and their journeys. As this series opens Rishe Weitzner is attending an event where her fiancé suddenly breaks off their engagement. This is a shock to everybody but her! She has lived through this moment six times before; each time her life continued in a different way but always ended with her dying aged twenty due to a war started by of Emperor Arnold of Galkhein Empire. This, the seventh, time she hopes things will be better. Moments after her engagement is ended she meets Arnold, who is still just a prince at this point. Events lead to them becoming engaged. Will she be able to use the skills she learnt in her past lives to prevent her early death this time?

I thought this series was rather fun. Rishe is a fine protagonist; strong willed and competent without having superior powers to those around her. This means there is a sense of danger. Having her repeatedly live a section of the same life is an interesting twist on the popular reincarnation theme of many recent anime series. The story progresses well with plenty of drama along the way. The animation is good and the character designs are suitably distinctive. Overall a solid series that I'd recommend to fans of the genre.
