If you're not into men being women. And women being men, then dont even bother watching it. Everything was great in episode 1 with the intro of what quest and strength the main character was building up to. Ep2, here comes the rainbow, gender bending, weirdo guy dressing up as a girl to decieve the other characters, antics come into play. If that type of stuff is yr jam, then cool for you. You'll enjoy it. Some people in the reviews think its fun and progressive. Sure, love what you love. But for those that do not live or like to watch odd stuff like that. Then you've been warned. Not really for me. But of course, others would feel right at home. Its unfortunate I won't be giving the show much more attention. The start seemed like a very intense and engaging show.

A very average anime with a basic protagonist, the anime shines because of Crimson, an amazing character and very funny and twisted, this character carries tue whole show, a show that has predictable villains and predictable backstory with a just ok animation, there is nothing Brilliant even the opening are kinda meh, but Crimson make the whole show less of a pain to be honest and lets nit forget that this show is 25 episodes because the first one if one hour of duration, that's a lot of content, the loli girl from tue beginning she just disappears for some reason, that's weird but ok overall 7/10 a meh anime with a great character throwing in there.

I just happened upon this anime because I got bored one day. If it wasn't for so many popular animes this year Ragna Crimson would definitely be number 1. Starts fast and it just keeps on coming. The comedy doesn't feel forced like JJK and Demon Slayer where you need an annoying loud character. Just buckle up and enjoy the ride because by episode 6 you'll want to binge watch the whole thing in one setting. Only reason I can't give it a 10 is because the animation and graphics isn't as good as the top studios. Even though there was a ton of action you can see that if they had a few more thousand bucks or time to flesh out the anime, it would've been so much better.
